BraveheartGordon 77
They should be added into all contacts to stop clubs offering peanuts, just because the level or nation we play in.Depending on how important that player is to the club we set a release clause of 10million.Players that don't demand so much money 6million.Any player that has under 3year deal we set there clause at4million.That way every team knows the price match it or bolt. No-negotiations.If players won't sign up to such a deal in there contract do we really want them at the club?Doesen't do any good, can still accept offers that are lower and what if we have a player worth 15 million? with a clause of 10,would be a nightmare. Then there is less pressure on the club to accept bids for players. E.G Le wallace could come out n say he want to leave.. What do the club do then sell him or keep him for 900k.Once we are talking to a player I would make it 100% clear that unless a club matches the clause you aint going anywhere.. If he signs then he accepts the clubs position. If not he wont sign

Only difference being that if we undervalue them in their clause then we lose out.
