Thermopylae 15,286
Whyte will now have to spend the rest of his life looking over his shoulder surely the money (however much that was) wasn't worth that
Albertz 78 918
I`d still like to see what whyte gained in this. will we ever know ?Probably thought taking Rangers into admin and getting a cva would have made him a packet when he sold the club on debt free. Albertz 78 918
I think he got away with a fair wedge and don't ever see him suffering any real sanction for it, who knows what could have been if we hadn't been horsed out of Europe and the resultant financial benefits that cost us.Being in the champions league would only have bought him more time to cause carnage at Rangers. It's not like he stopped paying tax after going out of Europe he was withholding paye from day one. God knows what he would have done with an extra 18 months at the helm probably Ibrox would have been sold by now if that rat got the extra time CL money bought. It was Whyte's intent to cause insolvency from day one thats why he stopped paying paye from the minute he took over it had nothing to do with Rangers going out of Europe. Even if everything went to plan for him and Rangers won the tax case and he got the CL money the tax case appeal would still be hanging over the club right now and the club would still have been in more or less the same situation as when he took over. This guy sold 3 years seaon tickets and the Arsenal shares you think for one minute he would lose sleep over selling Ibrox to pocket that money? Im actually agreeing with Bawsburst here.Tax is not payable every day or every month. Companies often pay quarterly, and i believe also you can pay every 6 months. The perfect scenario for Whyte was to get us in europe and to win the BTC. This was his big cash fall. In one swoop he took Rangers from £18m debt to £27m add that to the £9m in tax he did not pay that's £36,000,000 in debt before any European tie was played. He wanted to put Rangers into admin from day one as even a win in the tax case meant another appeal and years of having a bill of X amount of millions in tax hanging over the club a cva would have removed that in weeks. Albertz 78 918
OK enjoy yourself. You really don't seem to grasp that Rangers would have not had a single penny in season ticket sales for 3 YEARS under whyte. Sorry but if you want to live in fantasy land and believe the club went into admin because we got ko'd in CL that's up to you. How on earth can you run a Football club with zero income from ticket sales?

Probs pocketed the money for the Arsenal shares on top of his 5 million a year salary plus bonuses!!!! Devil in disguise.Whyte was just an innocent bystander. Ally devised this cunning plan to get penny shares and keep himself in a job. Watching Rangers men like a simpleton with an agenda loyal. Ally oot, Whyte in..... deserves a chance to make us great again!!!

Insolvency was only a matter of time given the odds of playing CL football 3 years in a row.

Ally oot, Whyte in..... deserves a chance to make us great again!!!Yeah poor wee Whyte he was just an innocent victim of circumstances Oh wait......In its findings released on Friday, the SFA panel found that after Mr Whyte’s takeover the club continued to deduct around £1.2m a month in PAYE Income Tax from employees’ wages, but none of the money was handed over to HM Revenue and Customs., meaning that the business was run for ten months on unpaid taxes worth more than £13m.
