Muirheadbear 1,483
The standard of player is going to have to be several notches up from Andy Little if you ask me.Short term; I would let him go and take a punt on Stevie May.
LegendofCoop 17,273
Would definitely give him another 2 years. Not just for the loyalty factor (but wasn't he actually the first guy to report back from pre-season after admin???). Anyhow, he's always been good up top when played there. Trouble is, he never stays there long enough, and that's not really down to him. He's likely to suffer from our managers general dislike of playing with 2 strikers!Never a winger! Give him his chance up top Ally!
Don81 2,837
Decent squad player , deserves a two year deal. Not on big money though.
TheBluebells 6,898
Don't think he'd be missed, squad player at best.
Thewhitesettler 2,711
Maybe after we've won the league, Ally can put some of the fringe players into the team as starters, and Little could be given a run of games up front, with some of the, promising, youngsters on the books. We could always have the big guns, on the bench in case it's not going well. If Little does well, then he will have earned a new contract... wullyRFC 5,230
If Andy Little is the standard of player you want to see us play in the SPFL then don't go bumbing your gums when we finish in the bottom 6.People are so blinded by loyalty it's unreal. Wawrinka 88
Fairly certain he has 18 months left on his contractSigned a 3 year deal in the summer of 2012
themoodybloo 77
I think a few who will be out of contract at the seasons end will either be let go or offered reduced terms,is it not a bit unusual that talks have not taken place a few months before a contract ends ? StewGer 606
Average as fuck and should be cut loose, could do better for his wages.
Columbo 588
When he plays through the middle he's effective and when given his chance as a striker in the 11/12 season his scoring record was very good.I'd keep him but only if Ally intends to use him up front, on the wing he's wasted
Clyde Valley 234
Not for me,always be welcome back after his loyalty but as was said before this is when we must start thinking about the top division and i don't think andy would give us much when we get there. He was out of contract and looking for a club. I don't think he got any offers apart from resigning for us.I don't think he is good enough and if someone better is available then we should let him go. MaddistonKnight 1,567
The Brechin game. One of the worst 20 minutes I have ever seen from a player. That aside, the problem I have always had with Little is he never seems to have an understanding with players around him. He never seems to have a partnership of any sorts. I could see the shoots of a Daly/Shiels partnership in the last few games, just wee positional things and lay offs, but I just don't see the same with Little and anyone else. Too much of a luxury and not a great one.
flany-kpl 7
I'd be against giving him a new contract unless we can't find anyone better to come in. Poor player, who due to circumstances, has been given more chances to shine than most.
leedsutd 0
Will score goals at any level in Scotland, has already scored goals in the top league. If Gers messing about because of clause in his contract, then thats poor form.
gogzy 31,195
think he scored 11 goals in the admin season in the spl. can obviously score at the highest level in Scottish football.still only a squad player IMO, but we need squad players. rfcfraserrfc 262
Would be a good squad player for the fightback. Proven in big matches. Cant imagine wages being too high.

There are plenty of others who should be moved out before him.

I guess his wage demands would come in to it.
five stars 1,621
Had a good season last year, when played as a CF is decent. Useless if played out wide tho.
