Second highest wage bill in Scotland

Second highest wage bill in Scotland, so we should be the favourites for the Scottish Cup

However, who in their right mind would bet on us to win it!? Aberdeen, Dundee Utd far stronger than us, St Johnstone a good bit better and Albion unlucky not to beat us today.

Either the players are being paid too much, or the management team is garbage or both.

I wish Ally would stand up and be counted in a post match interview instead of going on the defensive

Sick of hearing about this wage bill tbh.. Money payed out doesn't mean nothing..

If money paid out doesn't mean anything, then why did we do we spend so much?

Course it does. Better players cost more. We pay more. We have better players. We have lowered ourselves to the calibre of parttimers.Yet pay SIX AND A HALF MILLION BUCKS OR SO for the pleasure.Disgraceful

Fine the lot of them and the management and coaching team and pay the £150k fee for the loan. Just punishment. Supporters shelled out for the game today and were shortchanged (ripped off even) by a performance of a level utterly unacceptable for the 2nd highest wage bill in Scotland,

The money paid out does matter tho, you only need a wee look at pics on twitter from rangers playefs to see that they couldnt give a fuck tbh,, water tight contracts say that they only need to turn up and do nowt for the dosh,, they are a ragtag bunch of reject players that wouldnt get a contract anywhere else,, and jig should consider turning it in now, ma grannies quicker than him nowadays ffs

Sick of hearing people come out with pish like this when there is an obvious general connection between spending more and having better players.

Ally couldn't manage Madrid.. Its all about tactics and formation.. If we could play some passing incisive football am sure players skills would be shown more.

We have the second highest wage bill, but we're still used to playing against third tier opposition. That's where we lose out to the likes of Aberdeen and Dundee United. Players don't improve unless they are tested, and none of our players are really tested.

A very good point. You can only hone your skills against the best.

Remember McEnroe the tennis player being asked why his generation of tennis players (Connors, Natase etc) were so good and flamboyant, and he explained that though competitive they were friendly and would practise against each other and that kept them way ahead of the pack.

I Fucking dread watching some of our present players playing Premier opposition.

It could get messy for us.

Isn't that the point the people going on about the wage bill tend to be making? That we have players of a good level but they are playing pish under Ally and clearly there are failings in his tactics and motivation if he can't get such well paid players playing well against utter mince.
