That's where we lose out to the likes of Aberdeen and Dundee United. Players don't improve unless they are tested, and none of our players are really tested.A very good point. You can only hone your skills against the best.Remember McEnroe the tennis player being asked why his generation of tennis players (Connors, Natase etc) were so good and flamboyant, and he explained that though competitive they were friendly and would practise against each other and that kept them way ahead of the pack. That we have players of a good level but they are playing pish under Ally and clearly there are failings in his tactics and motivation if he can't get such well paid players playing well against utter mince.
