SteveJ 743
So the answer to the OP is obviously... erm... nobody has a plan. Not a clue. The plan is f*cked. The plan should have been to bleed youth with a blend of experience. The plan should have been to instill a tactical knowledge on all players. The plan should have been to reduce the wage bill to such a level that scouts could be recruited on a player find basis - and by that I include management salaries. However, that said, we still have a full season of Championship football to go before we have any chance of top flight football and if we were all serious about the future, we could cut our losses with Ally and co now, and accept two seasons in the Championship to bring the plan back on track. How much does the Dundee Utd management team cost in salaries? Anyone know? Not saying that I want them but that is a decent setup and I reckon they would cost less than Ally on his own. If we look around, Derek McInnes could lead a similar setup for Rangers.
SteveJ 743
John Greig the greatest ever Ranger was more successful than McCoist and he still had to go back in the eighties. McCoist will always be super Ally and loved by the fans, but his time as manager is up. He should step down at the end of the season. The longer he remains defiant over his ability, the less he will be remembered - which will be a crying shame. papaguy51 912
Basically we can't sack him because we pay him far too much.Horrific management all round, really.
sandy74 20
The only way that Super wont be in the dugout is if he is moved upstairs and the job given to Durrant. Maybe bring in Jig as a coach and relegate McDowall to physical coaching. Im not sure it would make any difference anf as Super hasnt failed yet then its hypothetical anyway. He will take us next season and he deserves tje opportunity.
