Robespierre 589
When you take into account season ticket sales (if we get the money that is) and the eventual new kit sponsorship deal that is surely forthcoming, along with the investment we've been promised, how much will Ally have to spend in order to strengthen next season? Realistically?

jamess 3,407
We have more than enough for next season, just need someone to coach the players and pick the best team.
scarkev 3,540
A good manager who could get the best out of available players, bring through youth players and build a long term sustainable philosophy would not need to spend anything for next year......ally will probably need a few million. Allanger 625
Very little I would imagine. He is going to have to improve his coaching methods drastically. Whether he can is debatable
there'sonlyoneamoruso 1,724
Already been said. We have the players, they just need coaching. Perhaps his best signing this summer could be a new defensive coach?

elephants stoned 2,994
He can spend what he brings in through selling players or getting the wage bill down, maybe not even that tbh. This is why the young players getting game time now is so vital, if Callum Gallacher progresses well then he can be a first team striker next season, negating the need for a Boyd or Miller type signing. Same with other lads, we don't have cash any more so we produce our own players and make a squad that way.
bluie127 13
Hopefully he has left his managers post with his backroom staff, total pish again today ,give this man nothing to spend, he has wasted a load of our monies on signing on fees and wages on crap players . j1mgg 3,766
I would prefer he worked with the guys he had, or if he can sell a few he can have that money. We need to trim the amount of wages and playing staff we have first, and I also think with the players we currently have we could win the championship. Realistically?Zero.I suspect Hutton,Perry,Cribari and Simonsen will leave and possibly Wallace or Law maybe subject to a bid. Have a horrid feeling Ally will target Boyd,Davidson and Stevenson plus whatever Spl dross is available on free's.

Getstiffed 8,863
With a squad and coaching that costs as much as ours do we should be skooshing up these divisions and be confident of finishing 2nd in 2015/16.
1st_Jan_1994 4,868
Hopefully nothing If we can get a decent right back and center half on the cheap with low wages consider that but save the cash for top flight where a better manager can spend it

there'sonlyoneamoruso 1,724
Davie Weir ?That's who I was thinking. Of course it may lead to accusations of jobs for the boys, but Davie was a consummate professional and I would like to think that would rub off on the younger players. Cos88 283
I wouldn't give him any money to spend. If he absolutely must sign someone then he should get 50% of the wages of any player that leaves to reinvest in bosman's with potential/resale value. Our squad is huge and even if player's who's contracts are expiring do not have them renewed we still have a big enough squad of sufficient quality to win the championship without spending any money. TBagalag 721
Hopefully he gets the square root of fuck all, his signings have been generally horrible, wouldn't trust him with a drinks kitty, never mind a transfer budget.
