sandyinroyalblue 16,478
a nice wee memory to inspire us ahead of cup semi final against dundee united and probably davie cooper's finest display for rangers
jcb 1,167
To think that had the late Ian Redford scored with a last minute penalty in the first game we would never have seen this. If my memory is correct Cooper and John MacDonald didn't start the first game.Good memories.
harlands plater 16,958
First game was forgettable but the replay was anything but. Coop was unstoppable that night.

They didn't start the first match so no memory issues For the replay Bud, Tommy Maclean and Colin Macadam were dropped and in came Cooper, John Macdonald and DJ. siddiqi_drinker 14,635
Imagine being able to drop those calibre of players and have that calibre waiting to come and slot right inGreat players, all Scottish and only SUPPORTERS, no fans groups. Oh I long for the good old days.I noticed the word 'turgid' being bandied around recently and is a word that would have aptly described the drawn final. Replay however was the total dichotomy. Who said it was a funny old game?

Clyde Valley 234
Can remember the world seemed to go into slow motion as the ball headed for the line from Coopers foot. Bobby just appeared from nowhere to bang in the 2nd. Great night and John McDonald played a stormer against what was a very good Utd team. ianferguson 2,619
Coop's finest game in royal blue i.m.o , up there with lauders 5-1 cup drubbing of hearts and Gazza hat trick v sheep to win 8 in a row . I was at all three games and it's memories like those which make being a bear a privilige .
