*****The Official Ramsden Cup Final Thread*****

Recommended Posts

I got a call from Co Armagh RSCs today passing on the unfortunate news that 'Tom', one of their loyal wheelchair-bound supporters has had a nasty fall, and broken a leg and will not be able to attend the Final. :(

That's terrible news, and we wish Tom all the best and hope that he recovers quickly enough to make the next final, which hopefully won't be far away.

Tom was keen to make sure his ticket (and the ticket for an accompanying carer) went to good use, so he has asked us to pass them on to someone who could make use of them.

So I called Erskine and now "Wee Jimmy" (I think he's 96, but I'd need to check), described universally as "he's Rangers Daft!" will be attending his first Rangers final in quite a few years - and he'll be able to wear the stuff he bought on his Ibrox day out in January. :21:

(Erskine Staff can fight amongst themselves over who gets to go with him), and Co Armagh RSCs will also have some gift bags for them both, so a great day out is assured.

So a speedy recovery to Tom and thanks to him and Co. Armagh RSCs for always thinking of others, even when they've got their own problems to deal with. (tu)

Really generous of Tom. Best wishes to him and i hope wee Jimmy and all the bears have a great day out tommorow :rangers:

Anyone else feeling really nervous about the game tomorrow? Just thinking about it gives me a knot in my stomach!

Gonna have to get it on iplayer as only have freeview (no ALBA on it here in NI).

Aye, it's starting already and i'm not going!

This feels like a big game to me now that we are close to the Ramsden final taking place

It is no minor cup as far as I am concerned: I really want Rangers to bring home this silverware and that it is against Raith means I want this victory even more.

Rangers performances have been quite disappointing of late so it is imperative that the boys come out and play the game of their lives tomorrow. Go for the jugular right from the start and don't let up until the final whistle.

Hopefully Ally has some decent tactics sorted out as it has been a bit messy of late to say the least

Im looking forward to this game

Not in the slightest. I'm not being overly confident, or 'disrespectful', but I have no fears over tomorrow at all! (tu)

3-0 Rangers.

Tough call as we are moving into the unknown regards playing a team in a division above...still confident we'll win it though.

On paper we should comfortably beat them, it depends on how much respect Ally gives them I reckon.

Hardly the unknown since we defeated the 3rd top team in that division earlier.
