Mollins 5
Think we all agree that Ally is on borrowed time. Think Hughton was unlucky to lose his job, done really well at Newcastle & Birmingham, any bears fancy him to take over?

1st_Jan_1994 4,868
Does he not have links to extreme left groups and links with tarriers? No thanks In saying that I don't like McCoist tarrier links and the sciaf stuff so maybe they're not so different and he's a much better manager
Mollins 5
No, anyone is better than the management team we have now - Hughton was a good pedigree

6superbarry6 14,149
take him in a heartbeat over Ally but he'd be looking for a big salary could get McCall or McInnes in for a fraction of his salary far better options imo
Super Ally 1690 21
No thanks
Mollins 5
Just because a manager gets the sack, doesn't mean he is a poor manager
elephants stoned 2,994
We need to be sensible, a lower league manager looking to move up to a level we can give them (European football, trophys) guys who are young and have new ideas. Hughton is better than Ally but that says fuck all, plus he's hardly going to be cheap and he would want 20-30 million to spunk on shite like he's done At Norwich. Id rather Alan Partridge if we are taking Norwich rejects
trublusince1982 768
Just because a manager gets the sack, doesn't mean he is a poor managerkind of does when the club that sack him say its because he wasn't doing a good enough job as manager. Mollins 5
Ideally I would love a team of Brian Laudrup and Albertz, or Numan and Gio.. But would be happy to take a manager with EPL experience..
Super Ally 1690 21
No black managers in England now any division

But would be happy to take a manager with EPL experience..Apart from Numan none of them have managerial experience We should have learned our lesson from Ally simply appointing someone as a manager because they are a club legend We could find ourself in the same situation a few years down the line - scared to sack club legends and giving them more time then they deserve
BFerguson6 121
A very odd manager, just seems to do enough to get by for a while then when his team's form dips he gets sacked. Zero personality, rather Someome with a bit of fight and ambition - on the right kinda track though, someone who wouldn't command a fortune and can work within a tight budget. simplythebest 11,453
Wouldn't be my first choice but without a doubt better than what we have, that applies to nearly everyone mind you
Robespierre 589
I would definitely take him over Ally, but there are better alternatives.

Mollins 5
Sometimes it's a positive move to hire managers that have had the sack, because they have a massive amount to prove.. Mcinnes is a perfect example
TAFKA 545
Stevie Clarke.Even Malky Mackay - speaks well, acted with great dignity dealing with that arse of an owner. Yes, I know who he used to play for but the club is what matters - not who a prospective manager might have played for years ago.But Chris Hughton, no thanks. weshallnotbemoved! 714
As much as we may want it, Ally is going nowhere in the near future unless he resgins. That would imply a CEO and a board with balls and decision-making skills.
