Ex Player/Manager or New?

If Ally goes then the board will have a decision to bring in somebody who understands what Rangers is and where we need to be. Do we go with an ex player or Manager but who may be limited in ability OR a fresh start with nee ideas but needs time? PLG wasn't given patience by fans and it could be the same if we have a new Manager who doesnt get us challenging celtic right away.

Options:

Ex Managers/Players

Derek McInnes

Terry Butcher

Walter Smith

Big Eck

Barry Ferguson

Numan

Arveladze

David Weir

Laudrup with coaches eg Mols Novo Goram

Stuart McCall

Cribari (Wants to be a Manager)

Fresh change:

Foreign Manager up and coming

Pressley

Sherwood

Nigel Adkins

Hoddle

Joe Jordan

Steve Clark

Ray Wilkins

Would love a foreign coach with new ideas. No scouting network in place so could plan from scratch.

If we are going to look for a change then, I think Wilkins is a good shout, has a good outlook regarding our club so in my opinion would not be too difficult to deal with, could be handy with loan deals for Chelsea and Fulham youngsters, loads of experience mostly as a number 2 but for me he would be ahead of the usual shouts of Butcher, Davies and McCall

Should Ally leave then its a (tu) for wilkins
