JamieG54 812
If Ally goes then the board will have a decision to bring in somebody who understands what Rangers is and where we need to be. Do we go with an ex player or Manager but who may be limited in ability OR a fresh start with nee ideas but needs time? PLG wasn't given patience by fans and it could be the same if we have a new Manager who doesnt get us challenging celtic right away.Options:Ex Managers/PlayersDerek McInnesTerry ButcherWalter SmithBig EckBarry FergusonNumanArveladzeDavid WeirLaudrup with coaches eg Mols Novo GoramStuart McCallCribari (Wants to be a Manager)Fresh change:Foreign Manager up and comingPressleySherwoodNigel AdkinsHoddleJoe JordanSteve ClarkRay WilkinsWould love a foreign coach with new ideas. No scouting network in place so could plan from scratch.

General Custer 516
A new manager with no ties and fresh ideas would be good. There's plenty of people at the club, who if need be can help a new manager get acquainted with what Rangers means.
cameron1873 511
So did Miller and he done us a few favoursI couldn't care less. I could not except a former Celtic player also a player that captain Celtic being the moat important person in our club.
nachothelegend 1,932
Steve Clark or Nigel Adkins would do me fine.I think the ex Player thing is doomed to fail.
disgruntled_bear 157
Pressley and Wilkins are ex-players.We need to get away from an British mentality towards football. We need a Continental approach. I'd like us to avoid every name mentioned above if Ally does get removed from his position.

kelvd1873 7,159
Steve Clark wouldn't be a bad shout I think, but if the board decide enough of ally they should invite applicants then take it from there.

thebluedoo 2,652
If we are going to look for a change then, I think Wilkins is a good shout, has a good outlook regarding our club so in my opinion would not be too difficult to deal with, could be handy with loan deals for Chelsea and Fulham youngsters, loads of experience mostly as a number 2 but for me he would be ahead of the usual shouts of Butcher, Davies and McCallShould Ally leave then its a for wilkins
WilliamFyfe 1,438
I'd welcome applications
bluenose48 951
I'd rather Gianfranco Zola before QPR sign him or Michael Laudrup.
loyalfollower 1,543
Would take Michael laudrup. But really we should invite applicants and the best one wins.
Randomhearo5star 0
I truly believe that we need to avoid ex players and managers. A fresh start with fresh ideas could be what Rangers and Scottish football needs.
RFC Eagle 4,888
Wilkins is a coach not a manager so would get him on board but not in the hot seat. Invite applications for the managers post and select from there. There wont be a shortage of applicants.
