BlueSuedeSambas 53,777
We were let down by a lot of experienced players at key points of the game today. Guys who should have the experience and the composure to perform a lot better than they did and that's dissapointing when you consider that Dundee United finished today with a back four with an average age of 21 and an attack with an average age of 22 and they looked as comfortable as we did for a large spell of the game.Maybe it's time that the guys who seem to highlighted in the U20 match reports near enough every week - Gasparatto, Halkett, Murdoch, Telfer & Stoney - got an opportunity to see if they truly can make the step up and offer something between now and the end of the season. Granted this isn't exactly a radical suggestion, people have been saying it for years now, but to not at least give them an opportunity after how well they have performed in their league and our need to freshen things up while having no money to do it makes it seems like a no brainer to me. TAFKA 545
No valid reason not to give the kids a chance.Well, apart from a shite manager, of course.
Hilly86 701
It's a quaint thought, but the all-important, extremely valuable quest for 100+ points must be nurtured with proven, experienced players.Telfer, Stoney, etc. just won't have the big game reliability of the likes of Dean Shiels and Ian Black. Moody Blue 9,349
If our coaching is rotten to the core, it doesn't matter what age they are, any talent will be coached out of them by the three stooges.

GWR1979 1,964
I thought Aird was good in the first half. and would rather see players like Crawford,Gasparoto and Gallagher get the chance. The league has been won since Christmas,McCoist is 1 dimensional as a manager and could have tried different things but has just played the same players.
