Baxter leaving to Sunderland was mince.

Laudrup in and out.

Gazza in and out.

Nine in a row team breaking up in general, was also difficult. as we will never see their like at Ibrox again.

To tell the truth, the older I get and the more memories I have, it's hard to single out the ones that made me happy and sad, as time is a great healer for the sad times, and sadly it can, at times , also soften or blur the truly great times. But all in all, I feel privileged to have seen the arrival of some true greats, and that's what matters.

In my time, although I was only in my early teens, I always remember the devastation when Barry Ferguson left for Blackburn, plus the euphoria when he returned.

I was sad to see a lot of Smith's team go from his second stint; Cuèllar, Mendes, Miller, Boyd, etc. That period, 2008-2011 was an outstanding time that I've got great memories from.
