For me, the squad depth is fine, just maybe lacking a better quality right back.

I would also let Jon Daly and Arnold Peralta go if possible.

Jig isn't going to get a regular game but he's club captain and can play a number of postions so still a good guy to have around.

29 players and possibly another midfielder (Cowie?) to come in.

No other team will have anything like these resources.

Good squad, no excuses this season for underperformers not being dropped or for a run of poor team performances like we suffered last season.

We keep hearing this but there was one of the East Fife away games last season where the commentator pointed out East Fife had used 30+ players so far that season.

Dude.

Pretty sure that was youth squad players also making odd first team appearances.

Doubt any other first team squad is 30 strong, especially not full timers.

5 of our squad could be considered youths and one of the senior players hasn't even signed yet.

Some may yet move on (and others may yet arrive). The time to assess the quality / strength of the squad is at the close of the transfer window. It's a very big season. I hope they go on to deliver to their full potiential as players and as a team that delivers the goods on the pitch. There is no higher honour that wearing the Rangers shirt and no higher privilege that winning football games - and the league - for Rangers. They carry the hopes of ever Bear and at the top of the list is promotion at the end of this coming season.

Its a big squad, my worry is in a years time, looking at that squad I'm looking for a squad that can challenge Cektic consistently over a season.

I see Wallace, Law, Black, Boyd and Miller...Templeton maybe, after that we're struggling for quality

A lot of people worried about these players and being able to challenge for the Premiership.

Contracts up at the end of the season:

Lee McCulloch

Jon Daly

Bilel Mohsni

Steven Smith

Richard Foster

Ian Black

Sebastian Faure

Kyle Hutton

Kris Boyd(option of another year)

Kenny Miller(option of another year)

Darren McGregor (option of another year)

Plenty of scope for a clear out.

In terms of signing players, the quality will want to come so it's just about having the funds.
