Nice touch by the club for Commonwealth medalists.

Recommended Posts

COMMONWEALTH Games silver medallist Lynsey Sharp was given a guard of honour before the recent victory against Hibs at Ibrox and Rangers will pay tribute to a host of athletes at the Dumbarton game on Saturday 23 August.

The Club has invited a variety of medal winners to attend the next Championship game at Ibrox a week on Saturday and they will all take a well-deserved pitch bow at half time.

Paul Foster (Lawn Bowls double gold medallist), Stephen Lavelle (Boxing bronze medallist), Connie Ramsay (Judo bronze medallist) David Thomas (Lawn Bowls silver medallist), Sarah Addlington and Sarah Clark (who both took gold in the Judo event) plus Viorel Etko and Alex Gladkov (both Wrestling bronze winners) are just some of the Team Scotland athletes set to visit the Stadium.
