stampyurie 203
The worry for me is who would want to take on this job at the minute?- No money to spend on players.- No guarantee the club won't go into admin this season.- Fans groups at war with each other.- New gaffer being asked to win the SPL next season on a shoestring budget if promoted.- A media activlly Working to destroy the club.- A board who go from one financial blunder to the next.- Club unwilling to defend itself. The guy who takes over from Ally better have a very thick skin cause unless serious money is brought in it's fighting for a European place tops over the next 3-5 years.sounds like a job for Alec McLeish

broomloan blue nose 91
sounds like a job for Alec McLeishI know I will get slated here, but I think terry butcher could be the answer, one thing he doesn't lack is passion he done really well at inverness, and he wasnt given time at hivs but at rangers he would take over a squad that is capable of playing good football. bluedylan 11,555
Ah! The God argument - good try! I can give my opinion and that's it.The quality of any manager is subjective - and over time we can perhaps get a body that may agree someone was a good manager, or a great one (or a shite one) but at the moment my opinion is Ally is good enough for us.The quality of a manager is not subjective, its result driven, our current manager is not good enough
Chambo 197
I think Ally should go and I'm sure he knows it would be for the good of the club and it's progression, but does his "We don't do walking away" statement mean he refuses to quit the job as a matter of principle? Is it going to take for him to be sacked for the club to move forward on the pitch? If this is the case will he be sacked?
Jimfanciesthedude 24,500
sounds like a job for Alec McLeishcouldnt aagree more, big eck was fantastic at taking a group of overpaid, underperforming pussies and moulding them into a team
cd true bluenose 86
I agree we do need this sorting out but who would want to take the job? That's good enough.Does anyone know how much Davies was on at Forest?Surely anyone decent will want a transfer budget... this is catch 22!at the moment he is unemployed ? and would jump at £400 k and do a far better job
The Beast 9,195
Horrendous I wonder if the youth supremos at Aberdeen, Hearts, Hibs or Dundee Utd are being paid anything close to that figure? They probably don't get that between them.
