WeeJim 92
For me Arveladze was just different class. I don't think Alex McLeish managed him very well positionally and that shows by us being the only club he played for where his goals per game dropped below one in two.I just loved the guy.Terry Hurlock as well
chepooka 126
Kutnetzov in his pomp must have been some player - the few flashes of his quality we were able to see attest to that.I remember him in a 4-2 against the tims where he turned it on, and in the pre season friendly for Dynamo Kiev just before we signed him. Kiev were effectively the Soviet International side and probably the best away team I have seen at Ibrox - telepathic football. Can't remember what game it was, but he did the telepathy thing with Miko one time where they played a massive one-two to each other the length and width of the entire pitch, it ended with a Mikhailichenko goal - it was pure exhibition stuff.Kanchelskis for me was a nearly man, Miko showed his class (when he could be bothered) and Oleg got injured.Rangers would have been some team with these three Ukrainians playing at the top of their game, but unfortunately it wasn't to be. (Miko was still brilliant even if he was a lazy bastard - wonder if he wants a job?)

Ibrox_Nights 429
Some names and amazing blasts from the past here - Dragan Mladenovic Tugay is a great shout. Looking back now and he could hardly get in our midfield; the technique he had was amazing. We really were spoiled back then. To think now we are landed with a painter decorator and Govan's answer to Houdini. Always thought Salenko was overrated, regardless of and leaving injury aside. The exposure he realized with his goal exploits at USA 94' always make people remember him in a more favorable light imo.

cpm1979 215
Was Basile Boli not a good player? Sure mind him being a big name signing at the time
Gman36 3,477
Amato. Perhaps didn't contribute a whole amount in his brief spell at the club but probably the most skillful dribbler I've ever seen.
PaulReid 184
Marco Negry for me. When I was younger this guy was god. I would pretend I was him up the local park in the snow and rain for hours.
norgerpd 280
Was Basile Boli not a good player? Sure mind him being a big name signing at the time As per quite a few of our signings at that time,an under-achiever during his time here.(Salenko,Bjorklund,Guivarch,Thern,Petric) So many top players just didn't seem to adjust to either the pace of Scottish football or the physicality or maybe just our style of play? Gaby Amato was a rolls Royce, mate. One of the most under-rated talents I've seen at our club. That day against the beggars...............bliss! Copland bear 7,966
Amato when he ripped the pish out of Stubbs in front of the East enclosure, then went through I think Mcanamara for the ball to bounce up for wee Rod the prod.

DietofWorms 2,079
Ray Wilkins.I always thought he only played the ball sideways for England etc. Then he came to us and I instantly got it.Then there was these. Being pedantic...that goal was scored before Murray got his mitts on the club.

Bjorklund 83
Amato. Perhaps didn't contribute a whole amount in his brief spell at the club but probably the most skillful dribbler I've ever seen.He did a lovely wee bit of skill one day to beat a man and the ball rolled to GVB I'm sure who rattled it in from about 30 yards - possibly against the sheep.
