pcbear 10,913
He is a sharp clever footballer, as is Murdoch and Clark, improved performances are no coincidence.
siddiqi_drinker 14,635
You dont watch football do you ? Yes its a game of opinions but how you think one of our own squad is better than him baffles me. In the real world we shouldn't need loan players with the size of our squad but Rangers are not in the real world at the moment due to unfit and not so good players. The big guy is a breath of fresh air .I think the Gallon Pie and Ear doesn't rate him because of his Newcastle association and that he is letting his anti-Ashley views cloud his judgement. Vuckic has been sidelined for a whie and is a bit 'ring rusty' but looks better than anything we've seen all season. Nice to see wee Murdoch get a goal as well. 1690tamRFC 5,001
Having watched him in his first two games i can't help feel he's wasted playing in that attacking midfield role. We're not a good passing team so he isn't getting a lot of the ball to do anything with. Looking at his build and his movement particularly the way he pulled off the defender for his goal should he be playing up front? He seems to have a good first touch which is something our other strikers are lacking which gives defenders a chance to get a foot in.I'd much rather see Law moved out of the heart of midfield where he struggles and pushed forward. I also wouldn't mind Templeton played more central where he can see more of the ball. Kind of like when Vladimir Weiss played off the strikers against motherwell. He ripped them apart that game and whilst Templeton is in reality not as good he still has the skill to pull defenders out of position.Law actually had a decent game last night and always does when he's pushed further forward, I'll agree he's fucking woeful when asked to defend and that's not his hand but on the front foot he's as good as anycunt we e got. JR 1,480
Enjoyed what I saw of him last night. He telegraphs his intentions when he comes in off the right but seems to have the upper body strength and the control to get away with it more often than not, at this level anyway. So refreshing to see a half decent dead ball delivery too....
Albertz Laces 35
I'm not sure if he's still short of match fitness but seems a yard too slow at the minute.
Alex_Follow 8
Playinv behind boyd i think will get us plenty of goals boyd just needs to find his mojo and vuckic could be the guy to help him find it
Gaz52 11,837
Lovely touch, good vision, good left foot.Quality player for Rangers!
The_Establishment_1873 46
Agree he should play number 10, if it from that position he will do most damage to the opposition and they will find it difficult to play against him when he is drifting from midfield to attack and back again. Bearsden bear 2,376
I am probably in the minority but i don't rate him. I would much rather have one of our own in the team.Considering the guy has been thrown in and with all the nonsense about the Newcastle players all to play. I am really impressed by his attitude and workrate.Tbh he looks our sole creative force too whilst Temps etc is out of the picture.
Turnberry18 3,204
I think he has a nice ability to involve other players to get involved when he has the ball. He and Murdoch looked as if they had played for a long time together when they moved the ball about out on the right. He has got a definite desire to play for us for the rest of this season. If we got promoted I wouldn't mind us signing him.
Mr RFC 696
I think he's done well a bit short on fitness though so better likely to come. I think it's easy to see why he has struggled to nail down a position as he seems a bit of a free spirit playing wise. Number 10 is a good shout to try him in which i see as up front with the license to drop off and pick the ball up.
nachothelegend 1,932
Tin hat on, but on the latest Football Manager, his natural position is listed as a Centre Forward. How accurate that is I'm not sure but he certainly needs to be playing more centrally either as a striker or a no. 10.Correct this is where he scored from.Get him up front Please. Dietspam 733
He's actually doing more damage playing out wide left as we're losing our shape. We have two wingers in Law and Vuckic who keep coming inside instead of staying wide. If he has to play then I'd play him just off Clark. Well spotted OP! It's because we play players that are not a natural left winger. It happens with Temps as well. Ends up with no one on the left at all as they drift in to the middle. Hoosier Ranger 1,554
I think the Gallon Pie and Ear doesn't rate him because of his Newcastle association and that he is letting his anti-Ashley views cloud his judgement. Vuckic has been sidelined for a whie and is a bit 'ring rusty' but looks better than anything we've seen all season. Nice to see wee Murdoch get a goal as well.I think you are right on why he didn't rate Vuckic. I like Vuckic and what he brings. His passing has been fantastic so far and he had done a nice job with the pace and weight of his passes. He doesn't have the pass of a typical winger but he showed against Raith the ability to run at the defender and you could see that he had the defender in his back pocket for most of the game.
