subcrawl 43
Regardless of what happens in the final game, and I think we will go through, McCall has show enough to be given the manager's job on a permanent basis, at least for the first season or two back in the top flight. That was a superb display of defensive organisation and hard work unimaginable under the previous idiots, and follows what has been a marked improvement in attitude and application since he took over. He is still constrained by having previous idiotic signings on the books and will only get better for us. I honestly think we would have strongly challenged and possibly beaten Hearts had he been in from the start.I would hope this would be echoed by most bears now, aside from the usual head in the sky dafties who want Eddie Howe, Jurgen Klopp or whoever. Shuggy 1,308
McCall's always been my main choice. I think he'll finish the job against Motherwell and get the post.

subcrawl 43
Me too but apparently Ally is statistically a better manager!!!!!!My granny would be a statistically better manager if those statistics were mostly garnered in the bottom two tiers of Scottish football. BigBearButt 3,919
Nope.Would rather open it up to applicants, if he gets us promotion then yes he would obviously be in a strong position however he hasnt convinced me yet that he is the man to take us forward. It is a tad unfair to judge him as these arent his players but some of the football or lack of it that we play isnt the greatest.

sandyinroyalblue 16,478
Me too but apparently Ally is statistically a better manager!!!!!!Aye and Westlife had more number ones than Oasis but they're still pish.
gmcf 35,409
Certainly a big improvement and today's organisation was light years away from what we've seen in the last couple of years. I'd still open it to applicants though and see who comes in , though I'd have no complaints if indeed SMcC ends up with it.

Tontospal 1,116
I think some are underestimating what he has achieved in such a short time with limited players.
M4XGERSBF3 240
Agreed i think McCall deserves a proper go at the job with his own players etc. He can get the best out of the shite so imagine having his own squad.
Misteral 2,952
He's welcome to apply but overall not that impressive in my books.
sandyinroyalblue 16,478
I think he deserves a shot at it but the decision to appoint a new manager can wait until our season's over.
Gaz52 11,837
If it wasn't for him we wouldn't be 180 mins away from the Premiership
dougie76 15,457
If he's the best available then yes but he still has a lot to prove, getting us up will do him no harm however.
glasgowrangersno1 468
He's a good manager but not what we are looking for at this time.
King Jela 21,684
Deserves a chance. I'd fell a lot better going into big games next season under him. He's completely turned this team around after the failure's tenure

BlueThunder 8,636
I would prefer to see who is available. Also, whilst Stu has done a decent job, we still aren't up. Lets not get ahead of ourselves.
