Dave King Is Full Of Shite

GOAT

Recommended Posts

Three press conferences all saying the same if's but's and maybes. He's went from investing £30m-£50m in the club, to only investing extra if season ticket sales aren't good.

The guys a bullshitter, yet some lap it up because he's a "rangers man".

Not done anything to separate himself from the rest of the useless bastards who have ran us for the past few years.

If anything - his insistence that fans boycott season tickets last year has hurt us more than most.

Cunt likes the sound of his own voice.

THREE press conferences, all saying the exact same SHITE!

The facts are we're in a worse position since he got in control. We're not on the stock exchange, we have no money. The guys a bullshitter.

I'm equally as concerned, but let's not get ahead of ourselves.

You're a bit of an over-reacting drama queen, GOAT.

And he's a lying bullshitting prick that contradicts himself with every interview he gives.

That's a bit sensationalist and wholly ignorant of the facts here GOAT.

I'm not an" all hail the King" type by any means butthis doesn't ocme down to writing 1 cheque for x million and saying that's it.

ST sales havean impact on the club's workign capital. He has however said that the club will not live within its means for a period of 3 year and will require investment in order to balance the books. He has further said that he will make that investment along with others.

Now that makes sense to me and indicates that a level of investment will be made that takes us back to the top of the Scottish game with a logner term plan of becoming self sustaining to follow.

Just because he hasnt said "here's a cheque for £20 million" doesn't mean that won't be the investment he makes.

Think if he would just be upfront and honest on:

1) his personal investment

2) additional investment

3) when new manager will be in

4) even list candidates

All the cloak n dagger stuff is pish will just disengage more fans, same as whyte, green etc.

Be upfront say it, do it and watch the best group of supporters back you to the hilt, it's no fucking rocket science!!!

He did not say he would only invest extra is season ticket sales were poor. He said the level of investment cannot be specified as we don't know what the season ticket sale would bring in. Because of that the investors may put in more or may put in less.

That's is a long way different to what you are saying

Why doesn't King just stick a few million in right now?

When Whyte took over i knew the cunt had no money despite the courageous journalists over at the Daily Record declaring him a billionaire on the front page.

King obviously has some considering he snapped up shares but i doubt he has anything close to that of Sarver or Ashley.

We need people to spend not invest. Ifs hard to find. Finding someone like Abramovich at Chelsea or Ashley at Newcastle who are happy to put money in knowing they won't get it back is hard to find. Kings not that man for us either.

The best group of supporters do not demand somebody puts in 30m or they will refuse to buy a season ticket. That's not rocket science either.

We need to put our money in and if he does not make a substantial investment then we have the rest of our lives to moan about it. If we refuse to buy tickets and investors walk away what happens then?

Whats ironic is we should be boycotting season tickets this season !

Less season tickets = more King money . Then add the PATG money from tens of thousands of us = more money overall .

edit - well , we im not saying we should boycott season tickets but his reasoning for putting his money in is full of holes ...

People were happy to not buy ST's last season as the board then didn't have any plans for the future and were pure spivs,so why should people go out now and buy them?

What's changed?

"Rangers men".

That man doesn't exist for any club in the footballing backwater we play in

If the fans buy the ST's and get the £12-13m he mentioned do you think he'll top it off with his £30m?

No, I think he'll match the 12-13m like he has maintained throughout. Our money is worth double, that's good.

He said he was gonna put the money in over a period of three years. Let's not forget there is also other investers gonna go 50/50 with him and lets also not forget that the season ticket money is gonna go towards the club instead of in to the fat cats pockets(which is where it's went for the last 3 year).
