The clap he got from the fans that stayed till after the final whistle, when he did his usual mini-lap to recognise the fans contirbution, was a wee bit louder than normal.

I reckon the fans were pretty much saying 'Strachan doesn't know what he's talking about. We love you even if he doesn't'.

I get people not necessarily thinking he should be captain but what were the comments about his ability all about? He was one of few good players we had in the last 2/3 seasons.
