Our New Captain Is....possibly John Eustace

Warburton plays five in the middle with one holding player and the rest going forward. There's your holding player, let the young players be the ones bombing forward. He's experienced and been playing in a much better league than the one we're in.

Everybody getting their knickers in a twist need to get a grip.

You guys are not very attentive when checking the background of a player. This guy was born to captain us. Just check out his name........ John Mark William Boyne Eustace

That's an omen if I ever saw one. :pipe::crabflute::uk:

Was it not only a few years ago that we had Gatusso linked with us and many were rubbing their bells at the thought? He is 37 now!

Gattuso the world cup, European cup, multiple serie A winner gattuso and ........ John Eustace

No really a comparison.

Just feels like a McCulloch coming back into the team after he finally left.

If this had been a mccoist signing there would be fucking uproar (rightly so)

Let's not get hysterical. Doubt it is even true

I wouldn't trust McCoist to walk my dug, he'd probably take it out as a young energetic puppy and bring it back as a dull boring dug that shites on the carpet.

So you admit you've nevet seen him before? So your arguments out the window straight away. The majority of McCoists signings we all fucking knew well. That was one of the problems.

Ive got faith in Warburton. After the inital shock, im open to anyone who can improve the team. Maybe this guy can add a bit of bite.

I'd feel more confident if he hadn't been out since around Christmas.

And for those saying it doesn't add value to the club. It adds value to the club if we get promoted so what's the problem?

Well obviously but Warburton specifically mentioned adding value to the club presumably to sell on as otherwise if he was just talking about to help get promotion then why mention adding value to the club as that would be a given

He is a good player and let's be honest, having a midfield of Allan, Murdoch and Mcleod will be as weak as fuck, we need a good decent experienced CDM who loves a tackle and will add that solidity to the midfield, we haven't had a proper CDM for years and he is one despite the age. He will do for a year and will be on a free so have no problems with this signature, as long as we get the two mentioned above, can't complain, much better than jig!

So your interpretation of what he said is correct but mines isn't? Cool.

No, it feels like our new manager needs a captain that will hold the team on and off the park.

Comparison is the age factor, nothing more.
