Burnley At Ibrox 21St July

Recommended Posts

It is a joke, see the fans that can't travel down south they can go to Ibrox 18 times at least next season, see us that want a good pre-season away trip, the thousands that follow away from home, we get fuck all, after spending hundreds to thousands last season to watch a bunch of fucking amateurs kick a ball about and get pumped off diddy teams.

Perhaps we could secure an away trip but couldn't get one with a team the same pedigree as Burnley. I would rather our team had the preseason they clearly need following a seasons of us getting pumped off diddy teams.

It's hardly a glamour trip either. Fucking Burnley. Place is a shit hole. Tje point is pre season isn't a reward to fans it's about getting the team up to speed for the coming season. If MW wants a game at Ibrox then so be it. This idea that were due something back is mental. We're due nothing back because we were shite last year.

Nothing we did over the past 3 years justified the price of the tickets but every season the cash was stumped up. The start of a new era should be better than a home game vs Burnley on a Tuesday. Fuck going to that.

Stench of entitlement is strong in this thread.

Lots of fans live down south and traveled up here at great time and expense to watch shite for the past 3 years. That should be rewarded. Plus a trip down south is a lot more interesting than a half full Burnley at Ibrox on a Tuesday night.

The start of new era should be better than Burnley on a Tuesday? I couldn't give a monkeys fuck less who the start of a new era is. Who was Advocaat's first game against? PLG? Does it really matter. What matters is that we're set to go for the season, not a jolly for fans to go away and get smashed.

well it would be good for a lot of fans that live down south

I do get the point, but we have lots of fans who live in Hong Kong and Australia. Should we be taking preseason games there too?

When we went to America it was criticised, despite being good for the US based Bears.

It's not something for people to get too worked up over imo.

This is MW schedule, if we hit the ground running come the first competitive games then that's good for every Rangers fan.

Because pre-season friendlies have nothing to do about preparing for the new season...

Well thank goodness we don't have to play games away then. Isn't preseason about training, fitness, playing after travelling, playing on different surfaces, and the team bonding. :)
