I think MW has been superb so far with all his decisions but I reckon this was his first mistake which I hope he won't do again.

He's obviously a calculated risk taker and the game was 'possibly' finished on 60 minutes but I still think it was wrong and I said it right away.

Two minutes later we had a player injured on the deck and if it had been a serious injury we would have played for 30 minutes with ten men.

A third sub with 10-15 minutes I think is ok but not at 60.

I think we could have played for 30 mins with 10 men and it would have made no difference as ive said on different post the second half was just a training game but im also sure MW knows what he is doing.

I don't think it was a mistake. The game was over and we went on to score again. It was a calculated risk that paid off.

Took away the flow of the game a bit, other than that MW done great, i do like the idea of an early sub used to hate the 87 minutes substitution.

agreed, not really keen on all 3 subs being made so early. McLeish used to do that a lot, I remember a few occasions where players had to play injured for 20 mins or so.

it feels ridiculous criticising Warburton however!

I welcome players getting a full 30 min to show what they can do. And when we are well in the lead, it is not a gamble really.

4-1 up with 70% possession, I think it's fair to say it was a pretty safe gamble and it got players much needed game time.

Exactly I don't think MW saw it as a gamble more like giving some guys a run out in a game that was well won and under our control

Players are going to get sent off during the season, and I have confidence in W&W that they have the team adapted to play if any situation comes up playing with 10. We have the new Alex Ferguson as our manager, give him a break ?

Think it was just giving some guys a run out more than a tactical substitution if you get what i mean.. i think 2 players being subbed at 60 than one at 75-80 is a good formula depends on how the game goes i guess

I love the double subs on 60 but as others have said, he won't do it against stronger opposition.

I suppose it wasn't really a mistake as no one got injured and the game played out but I still don't think it was the correct decision and I will be very suprised if he does it again.

Still get the feeling that some are not convinced with MW maybe because hes not a " Rangers Man " that some find it difficult to say well done and we are heading down the right road but that's up to them.I think the majority are glad to see what MW is doing and long may it continue

I'd be surprised if he didn't do it again. Ayr on Wed hopefully.

Said to the auld man, "3 on at once, hope we don't get an injury", sure enough, 2 minutes later Halliday is rolling about the ground holding his leg, can't see warbs doing that again anytime soon

Giving 3 subs 30 minutes of action at the start of the season is a positive.

The match was as good as over and it is important that squad players get as much competitive playing time as possible because you never know when they will be required. It is not that often that games afford the luxury of doing this.

In any case you could make 2/3 subs and 15 minutes to go two of your players have a clash of heads and both need to go off.

Sometimes supporters are just too keen to criticise or complain when there really is no need.

Really, iv not spoken to one Bear who has doubted MW and not take us where we want to be.
