MrMckee Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 Ayr on the 19th Hibs on the 23rd airdrie on the 26th QOTS on the 30th Looking forward to those 11 days thats for sure! ( although i will be relying on some pirate stream for Wednesday night !! ) should see some rotation in the sqaud and love what MW was saying earlier about not having a weak team and i truly believe every player we have in the first team can do a job for us and plus more loanees coming in think we will see some great football from lots of different players and i am truly excited for this and not having to wait a week or 9 days for a game is like being a spoilt kid! A.T.G Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 Hibs and QOTS are huge games for us, we were beaten comprehensively by both teams last year. Should we win those games comfortably and again having over 60 percent possession then I would be inclined to say that the bookies can start paying out Quote

TMB Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 I've got tickets for Ayr and Hibs so far. I've made arrangements for Airdrie tickets too. Not missed a game yet and really want to follow the team all season. Dave King has given us a manager and asked us for 45k at each league game. Time for all fans to back the club and this time there will be no false dawn. Quote

Jack The Flipper Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 Wait, let's contact the sfa and get a couple of those games moved, we can't be playing so many games in such a short period...Oh, McCoist isn't manager...Sorry, my bad, let's get battered through them Quote
Bigsasasfloppyhair Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 That will be another 16 goals or so. We're averaging over 4 a game so far and its bloody superb!!! Quote
Misteral Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 Four victories would be heaven. Not impossible in my book but we have yet to be tested, really.Don't see why we can't, though. Quote
TBagalag Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 Which of these are televised?Hibs is on Sky on Sunday and QOTS match is on BT, don't think the Ayr match is televised and unsure about Airdrie as well. Quote
Ozblue Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 Yea the QOTS game away im more worried about than the hibs one tbh but yea if we win those games will be a good statement palmerston not an easy place to go as was seen from last season but think we will have more than enough to over power them just getting caught on the counter is my fear playing them away I watched our game against Alloa live on my computer (Sunday night here) and also recorded it from my 'bein Sports' channel so I could watch it the next day on my TV. When I turned on the TV yesterday morning 'bein Sports' were showing a between programmes "fill in segment" that was ironically highlights from the QOTS game at Palmerston where we got comprehensively outplayed in a 2-0 gubbing, which iirc was the same day McCoist handed in his notice.Everything about that team then is the complete opposite to what we have now so we certainly will not play with the same apathy as we did that day. For starters we won't have several players playing out of position as was the case in that game; we have a midfield that can actually pass a ball and don't hide for 90 minutes and we have a striker who isn't a big immobile lump and can actually run.We actually played better the next game at Palmerston but the scoreline was even worse with a 3-0 defeat under McCall, so as you said; Palmerston was not an easy place to go last season, but I'm confident we will win this.I will be quite happy to come away with us scoring 1 more than them. RyanMac Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 how did you get bein sports? Isn't that what they use abroad to show games?Clue is in his name. This year cannot be compared to last, for the first time in a long while we look to be a team that can proudly call itself Rangers. Quote
Ozblue Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 how did you get bein sports? Isn't that what they use abroad to show games?Yea mate! I live up the Blue Mountains in Australia RTV is good for on the computer but I like to sit and watch our games on TV in the comfort of my living room also, so I have a subscription for bein Sports which is the only TV channel that shows Scottish football (Rangers only for me) I basically can sit and watch football 24/7 from all around the world if I want to because I've also got a subscription to FOX Sports and EPSN.I used to have a subscription for Setanta Australia for 20+ years which showed all the Rangers games, then Setanta was bought out in 2014 by beIN Media Group which is a subsidiary of Al Jazeera Media Network, which is owned by the Qatar Royal Family and Setanta was renamed bein Sports. It's actually 3 times more expensive than what Setanta used to cost me, but for me it's worth it.
