bombaybadboy08 15,660
The gaffer will have something up his magic sleeve, that's why this has happened. No danger he will leave us short in defence.
MarvinAndrews 80
Would rather it was Zal to be honestWouldn't surprise me if they offered him the same deal but he turned it down in favour of picking up a decent wage.Respect to Mcgegor for leaving for regular football as I'm sure he won't get as good a wage as he was getting here. Good man.
TheLawMan 6,240
I hope he does go to Hibs or St Mirren or QOS. Same with Zaluskas as well.

BlueboyG 5,229
Good luck big man, think you proved a lot of people wrong at times and that's where the POTY came from. I reckon he will end up at Kilmarnock or perhaps down south somewhere.
WeeJim 92
Our player of the year last year and a steady if not fantastic player with a year to run on his contract, not exactly at the end of his career either. If we can't get some sort of fee for him that's a sure sign we've been paying him way above his market value. Zal fair enough as he's not exactly sold himself to anyone since we signed him but McGregor should have got interest for a nominal fee rather than us paying him to go unless his wage is seriously off putting.Clearly more signs of the bad business we've been doing over the last few years and hopefully we'll not have to repeat this beyond this window.Good luck to him though at least he put a shift in. toolongawake 1,205
We must have someone else lined up cause boy from Stranraer I know is mates with Hardie and he told him Zaluska been told to find new club aswell that would leave us short of cover we have 3 CB's and a few decent youngsters, we'll probably be alright even without Zal

Rangers Lady 2,380
DissapointedPace as much as anything is lacking at the back, hope he goes back to St MirrenMuch as I hate them and the cunt Gilmour I'd sooner see them triumph over petrie and stubbs mob.In fact we could loan out Temps and Hardie to St Mirren, they can't play against us but they could give the hibs a wee skelp

rfc_watp 1,503
Understandable decision but also a bit sad to see him go, had the right attitude and gave his all for the jersey.Good luck to him and cheers for the effort, but at the end of the day, in Warburton we trust! Letting him go cuts our wage bill and he might get a signing on fee somewhere. I think he'd do a good job in the SPL for most of the clubs there and hope he does well. sandyinroyalblue 16,478
Can only wish him all the best in the future and unlike some of his team mates from last season will be guaranteed a warm welcome anytime he comes back to Ibrox. Dutchy 1,200
Done well last season, got the POY award. All the best Mac, unless you go to hivs, they are a fucking horrible wee club run by a stupid arse of a man, with the stupid nose to go with it. chris182 6,279
unfortunatley it doesn't work that way.our manager is only interested in Us and what we are doing.I don't see why it couldn't work that way. A bit of common sense is all it is.
Bellshill_Bear 1,105
Hibs fans want him now. Talk about immoral. Our so called title rivals wanting one of our cast offs! Hope Tom English gets them telt

Sander2006 50
Very strange decision indeed. We could have got some sort of fee for our player of the year whilst also ensuring he doesnt end up at hibs. Additionally we are now short of cover in the center and also at right back. If we were just going to dump him he could have been used in the offer for Scott Allen.

Andy Forum 14
Right now, given what I've seen of Kiernan thus far, I'd take McGregor every day of the week that ends in a Y ahead of him. He's had a bit of a raw deal in my opinion.

If we were just going to dump him he could have been used in the offer for Scott Allen.1) offering him to hibs with 280k would have done nothing for them to accept2) Allan isn't worthy of the jersey. He wanted a big move not a move to us.3) I doubt anyone would have been willing to pay for mcgregors and if we paid off 50% of his deal then we will have saved more in wages than we were likely to have got for him.4) we aren't short on cover As we have Ball, Zaliukas, Lang, White, Brownlie. Warburton said he liked having a lean and hungry squad supplemented by youth players.
