The owners have a thirst for success, Rodgers ended up out of his depth sadly.

They now have a real chance to put in a real world class manager to take the club forward. I think if they can land Ancelotti or Klopp then it will absolutely sensational and exciting times for Liverpool.

Who do you reckon it will be?

no matter who Liverpool get they will always be also rans, money talks and with Anfields low capacity, lower admission prices, lack of corporate activity, attraction of Liverpool as a city and the owners lack of cash they will never win the title or even compete for it.

Newcastle and Liverpool fans need to understand their true position.

No world class manager or players will ever be enticed.

Klopp seems like such an unobvious appointment for Liverpool. Almost too good to be true for them. Think it would be a real statement of intent if they brought him in and gave him more control in transfers. They truly do need a turn around, as, besides a couple of freak seasons they've been an above average PL side for almost a decade.

Klopp definitely seems like the ideal man for the job. He perhaps didn't go out on such a high but it's easy to forget he dragged a struggling Dortmund that finished 13th to back to back Bundesliga titles and a Champions League final.

If they get him in, back him and perhaps most importantly give him time.. Could be exciting times ahead for Liverpool.
