Clemdog 39,389
How long before this kid is pushing to get into our first team? Only a short time on the pitch today but thought he looked as accomplished as any of our other midfielders this year. I really think he deserves to get more of an opportunity to come off of the bench. Tidy on the ball, aggressive and looked a decent size for his age. Plus, this shows how much it means to him:
Frank Reynolds 3,359
Gutted he didn't put that effort away today
mabawsa 888
Stamp on him was ridiculous and good thing the ref saw the correct course of action.
plumbGER 24,518
He looked pretty decent when he came on and i'm always impressed with his efforts in the youth games Elfido(sp) reports on.Looks like he really is living the dream and we will reap the benefits in the near future. ThatNightInFlorence 696
Was delighted to see him coming off the bench. All game I was moaning to my mate that Warburton always subs on the same boys and that I wanted to see Thompson No reason why he can't challenge Halliday for that holding position in the midfield. Hopefully we see a bit more of him this season.
kris1984 1,563
Just got up after the stamp as wellLove his attitude and looks to have good range of passing, weirdly reminded me of his namesake Kevin Thomson
siddiqi_drinker 14,635
Two 18 year Olds running our midfield at one point, ably assisted by SShiels Changed days indeed,
Laudrup1984 25,100
He looks very comfortable on the ball, has a sweet left peg, versatile and seems pretty grounded. Competition is strong for places but I have no doubts if he continues to progress and work hard in training, he will get more game time sooner than later. Looks a good prospect........... Bearsden bear 2,376
Good to see the young guys getting a run out. He looked the part when he came on. Would like to see more of that - particularly when 3 up at home with 15 mins left like today.

I thought Andy had a decent game aswell but if Jordan continues to impress in training i see no reason how the hoth can't play in there. The stamp was a shocker, from where i was sitting i thought it was 50/50 maybe even in favour of the Alloa player when the ref blew, but then he goes and stamps on the wee man.No need for it at all,if it wasbin the first 10 mins he would have got a warning tho, refs can't make decisions early on. Hopefully we see a bit more of him this season. When we signed him I remember doing the standard Youtube video research as you do. This video always stood out. He looks a cracking prospect in that holding role, or one of the 3 in midfield, with his ball retention, passing and breaking up the play, but his versatility gives him a huge role to play in the season/years ahead (hopefully)............ bombaybadboy08 15,660
I like him, think he's a cracking wee player. Not only is this great for him and us but here's your evidence to any young prospects we are eyeing up for next year - if you're good enough, you're old enough.Loving it. Skyson1872 2,923
He didn't look out of place, normally when youth players come into the first team you can tell they are youth players, but credit to the system and credit to Jordan himself, looks like he will be a class player very soon. Blackandra 732
Liked the look of him when he came on against Burnley. Said at the time he reminded me of a young Barry Ferguson with the way he moves around the pitch
bluenoz 32,369
Looked composed on the ball just like he did against Burnley. He's got a look about him that says he's got the fire in the belly. MW is bleeding him in nicely. No reason why we can't try Halliday a little further forward were I think he mat be better suited anyway.
K.A.I 36,183
Yeah I'm another in his camp. I've probably seen him play about a half dozen teams for the unders this season including the 2 matches in N.Ireland in the summer and he looks a talent. crombie1873 142
Looks a player, very composed on the ball and seems to be aware of everything that's going on around him, you can see from that video above he's always looking around him. Hope to see him get a few games under his belt this season, I'd personally start him and a few of the other youngsters in the remaining petrofac games this season

The Rangers FC 751
He played very well against Burnley, hope he features regularly now hes made his debut. I'd like to see Hardie feature too but obviously it means benching or putting Waggy out wide.
Garnock Blue 319
I think the Boss is doing it right with gently easing our best young players in to thr 1st team. Thomson and Walsh will one day be top players for us. Patience is the key.
