OlegKuznetsov 10,816
Funny that, isn't it?The number of people suddenly doing a u-turn is so large, the shockwave must surely have registered on the Richter scale. In fact, such have been the reverberations, several nationalists thought Scotland was actually breaking away from the UK after all, albeit in a literal, physical sense. It's staggering to hear so many voices tacitly admit we have the same history and are the same Club. Iguana 31
For journalists, esp on Twitter, it's only ever mentioned when they want to feel listened to. No one gives a shit what Speirs or Spence say about anything apart from that, it stirs up hate and arguments and they feel relevant. There's something deeply wrong with educated men stoking the flames like that.

There's something deeply wrong with educated men stoking the flames like that.Very true. One week they lecture on the evils of sectarian hatred within the rivalry. The next, they're pouring paraffin on the flames of the bitterness in that very rivalry. On the radio, they can manage that pincer movement on the minds of the gullible in mere minutes, if not seconds.Hell, Spiers can do it in the same paragraph, with his rather sectarian form of anti-sectarianism.I suppose when someone gets assaulted and stabbed, that's another victory for them, as they can write about that and get back to condemning the evils they fuel. Win, win, they must feel.
Ibroxholm 2,312
For the past 3years, opposition fans have consistently taunted us with the banal 'you're not Rangers any more'. After the events of last week, you can be sure they will be dusting down the 'cheat, cheat' chants. Illogical but, then again, intelligence is not their strong point. Bristoe1872 2,733
"Let nobody try and tell me it isn’t the same club – I have always said it is and now Rangers have to take the consequence of that reality right on the chin."
