The independent commission established by the SP(F)L gave their verdict that no sporting advantage was gained by RFC. The matter should be closed. This recent appeal result has no bearing on what the independent commission decided. One of our problems, in my opinion, is that Dave King makes statements without thinking. It'd immediately take away any disgrace from their shoulders. It wasn't their fans' fault that it happened, but it is unforgivable not to recognise what happened and criticise those involved. Much as we've been fucked over by people at the club, you could argue their club suffered the same in terms of the scandal. But when you don't even acknowledge what's staring you in the face, you become part of the disgrace.I'd hope if things were reversed, we as a fan base would have acted with more honour.It's not only their disgusting club that's stained with this, half the clergy of the churches they attend are tarred with the same brush and many of whom are counted among their support , see a pattern forming?
