If everyone was so concerned about "sporting integrity", it would still be an amateur game, played for fun by boys wearing massive mustaches and long sleeved tops.They know deep down that the only "tainted" titles are the ones they've been handed on a plate over the last couple of years due to the complete inability of any other club in the premiership to mount a serious challenge. Adrian Durham handed their heads to them on a plate a couple of weeks ago and they will be beelin' that a respected commentator from outside the goldfish bowl has stated the obvious.They also know that we're on our way back - we have a superb manager (who is only just getting started) backed up by talented backroom staff, and a team on the pitch that is shaping up very nicely.They had to release something as their AGM is coming up fast; having a go at us keeps their yahoo element happy enough so that they are deflected from poor results in europe, a manager who is clearly out of his depth and financial results that would otherwise require questioning.
