FORMER SPL chief Roger Mitchell has taken to Twitter to hit out at Rangers chairman Dave King – branding him "damaged".

Mitchell has questioned the SFA’s decision to pass the businessman fit and propergiven he was hit with 41 tax convictions by South African authorities and labelled a "glib and shameless liar" by a judge.

In an online conversation with fans, the man who ran the top flight in the early 2000s told how he believes Rangers will be left ruing the day they let back in King, who was cleared to become chairman by the SFA in May.

Mitchell also told of how he doesn’t envy King in his battle with Mike Ashley, with the Castlemilk-born director up in court on Wednesday accused of a contempt of court.

Asked by a Twitter user if Mitchell believes Ashley will "get anything out of his judicial review", he replied: "I wouldn’t want him on my back. So yes. How can King be fit and proper after what the judge said about him? And we was on the board of oldco. So damaged on every level."

Mitchell went on to tweet: "Rangers will come to regret him. I’d have strongly opposed him."

Is the same assclown that described himself as a C*lt*c man?

Nevermind it is

A former Scottish Premier League chief executive has described the fallout from last week's court ruling on oldco Rangers' tax affairs as nothing more than "fans' bragging rights".

The Court of Session decision that the company running Rangers from 2001-10 had broken tax rules has ignited debate about stripping Rangers of five titles.

"I'm a Celtic guy. I don't care whether they strip them from Rangers or not," Roger Mitchell told BBC Radio Scotland.

"It is much ado about nothing."

Mitchell left the SPL in 2002, four years after helping to launch the organisation, when Celtic and Rangers blocked his plans for a subscription-based SPL TV channel.

so... let me get my head round this. The tims all think King in bad for Rangers and that he shouldn't be fit and proper - yet they want him gone. Very altruistic of them to think about us like that. It warms the cockles of my heart.

In a nutshell. Fact is they are bricking it.
