I don't think it did in the sense you are meaning.

What had the big impact for me was dropping Law, constantly playing Zelalem, deciding to play less direct and with less tempo week in, week out. It's set in now to the point you can't see us upping it a gear.

In our start to the season Wallace and Tav driving forward and our midfield supporting them had us savaging teams, but since around the time of St Johnstone onwards we've played with a style which is to give the midfield the ball to in turn try and walk it into the net and there's just no spark or gear up that has allowed it to work. The team has generally been crying out to be more direct for the last 10 games or so.

WIth that said this highlights the reality of how much still needs to be done.
