slimjim1690 4,534
I know I know, I've never been a fan but I have to say he was outstanding today, and has surely taken Zelalim's place in the team, he moved the ball forward quickly at every opportunity, take a bow Nicky and let's see you keep it up. LegendofCoop 17,273
Was superb today......he is key to us holding the ball at the edge of their area and linking play down the left, which we seem to do so much. More of a goal threat than Zelalem too.
Billythebear77 10,386
Aye Defo m8, we need to kick in from this and put another run of wins together!, law was quality today, him Halliday and holt were immense!!, it's no surprise that when we were steamrolling teams at the start of the season that was our midfield, zelalem might turn out to be world class, but he's not suited to the Scottish game IMO
cumnockbear 2,446
Was delighted to see he was on the starting line up, showing the form of old when he 1st signed, never put a foot wrong today, 1st name on my team sheet every week, keep up the good work bald Eagle. Moody Blue 9,349
Law played with confidence and looked comfortable on the ball, but moved it on quickly when needed. Miles better than the other options on the bench

Bluekev 43,901
I think a midfielder who can hold and pick a good pass is no longer needed in the transfer window as law is the player that we've desperately needed over the last couple of months
tannerall 25,935
Nicky Law is a very talented and aware footballer who had his confidence totally sapped by playing in a team managed by incompetents. Posters who refused to see this in the past should now be suitably embarrassed. But hey hoe, it's Xmas and we now have a reborn faith in our team so onwards and yupwards. (The Kenny Miller abusers today please take note. Kenny did his job today, harrying and harrasing their defence and midfield whenever they broke)
DavieMacRFC 850
Jason Holt was superb, long may it continue, took both goals well.Edit: on ma phone and had a few, clicked the wrong thread lol, Law done well.
Fergie_6 1,078
His going one way then turning is brillant, he thrives in a quick passing team
theweebluenose 4,332
Im one of his biggest critics but he did well, needs to play like this more regularly though. Deserves a start next game.
Iguana 31
I've always been a fan of his even through the bad days. The only player who I was confident having the ball at his feet. Moshni, in them days for instance, would take three touches then still have to make a lunging tackle to clear it.
MrMckee 3,420
Always looks to drive forward with the ball instead of passing it sideways which has been much needed and i would start him. Also think Shiels did well when he came on
BlueAvenger 10,237
Law played well and deserves to keep his place in the team.
onefootwillie 1,518
Best I have seen him play in a big game. He did not hide and worked very hard
Drunk and disorderly. 14,418
Law didn't stand out to me. Made what, one successful tackle and never set up any of our goals?Overrated by many on here. Needs to step out of his bubble and perform for 90 minutes consistantly before his cowardace last season is forgoven by me. Maybe he should watch Jason Holt's consistant performances and aspire to emulate them.
cp9 753
Thought he was superb. Offers a different dimension to the slow sideways passing which has happened in recent games.

I'd also be offering him a new deal before he's open to Bosman offers.

He took the ball constantly from midfield, and even tracked back to pick up ther ball from the back on quite a few occasions, and then drove forward then back and forth till he found a man in space to pass to or play the ball through. And some of the wee triangular passing he was involved in on the wings, probing for space. were a joy to behold. Which game were you watching ?
Rupret 223
Playing decent ball, being involved in the game, unlike our missing young Yankee loan star.

Our previous problems were a result of poor management.
Broxi 11,484
Nicky Law is probably our most direct and forward thinking player. Certainly in central midfield. Every time he gets the ball he's looking to go forward, past people. I thought criticism was harsh last season too, but he wasn't amazing granted, a lot better this season. Should be a starter.
