i wish everyone was saying this mate

Just needs you to say it.

No one else matters.

You entered a contract legally and honestly in a fair minded fashion and got shafted by the other party.

No doubt in my mind who is at fault, and who should be rectifying the situation.

Here's the terms and conditions you entered into by placing your bet.

18. Errors in relation to Sportsbook markets

18.1 This clause relates to errors made in Sportsbook markets. Any errors made in relation to Exchange markets are dealt with under clause 19.

18.2. We make every effort to ensure that we do not make errors in accepting bets. However, if as a result of human error or system problems a bet is accepted at a price (which includes the odds, handicap provisions and other terms or details of the bet) that is either:

  1. materially different from those available in the general market at the time the bet was made; or
  2. clearly incorrect given the chance of the event occurring at the time the bet was made,

then we will pay winnings at the correct price.

18.3. To establish the correct price we will consider prices available in the general market at the time the bet was made, including the prices offered by William Hill and Coral. Examples of circumstances where this would apply are:

  1. the price is recorded as 100-1 when the price on offer in the general market is 10-1; or
  2. the margins for handicap betting have been reversed.

18.4. If a bet is accepted in error by us on an event or outcome for which no Ladbrokes prices are available the bet will be void and your stake returned.

The odds were a bit generous but if you have a slip or receipt saying 350/1 then go balls out of the bath and try to get the money. The bookies quick enough to take your money in the first place. If we hadn't of won by 3 goals would they contacted you to give you your money back. I don't think so.

The negligence was on their part, so they are obligated to pay it.

No negligence from those who betted on that result.

If they don't pay their proffessional, contractual and probably legal credibility is gone.

Stand your ground.

Won't do any good mate, their terms and conditions are worded to protect them from human error. CORALS has made errors like this multiple times and even the independent betting border or whatever it's caled ruled in their favour.

OP not sure if you would have any luck in small claims vourt. As suggested esrlier, approach the Daily Courageous or Sun, see what they'll ought up for your exclusive story, a move that may pressure Ladbrokes to up their offer.

Never been a gambler, my dad was and he was good at it, he lost his money slowly, and i was aware of things like house limits etc (which to me are also unjustifiable as all bookies lay off their big bets elsewhere), but it appears to me that the consumer law applying to bookies bears no relation to consumer law regarding most other supply industries.

All the more reason to stay clear in my opinion, they'rer manipulative unethical bastards who have no shame.

(No disrespect Compton/Creampuff or whatever you call yourself currently, but you'd probably agree)

They have by offering to pay out at the correct odds.

What is this "correct odds" you refer to.

I assume it is an arbitary figure set by the bookmakers exclusively, and varies according to bookmaker whims or worries, or needs to make a profit, and if they fuck up can be altered accordingly to recoup losses ?

That's the issue. Bets are not covered by any law and are therefore not subject to normal legal rules. (tu)

Social media is best bet but less than a 1% chance of getting it. (tu)

Peoples can you help

Ladbrokes in club europe made bets with 12 guys today for

RANGERS TO WIN BY 3 GOALS

The girl phoned up boss and made bets at 350/1. We all bet it as was good bet. Weve won.

Ladbrokes are saying NO, it was human error, and original odds would be 7/2 and they are offering comprimise at 4/1

we are all sitting with tickets worth thousands

what will we do? any suggestions

reported it to Rangers too

Think the boss must have thought the girl said by 30 goals to come back with 350/1.........

I am sorry if the answers aren't what you want, but legally, you aren't going to be able to enforce it, just threaten them and kick up a stink, get to the media and see if they'll offer some money just to get you to leave them in peace.
