All right clever bastards, should have worded it better, how come we always start a game kicking towards the broomloan?

There's a big turntable under the stadium, part of the Underground works,  After the toss, if needed, the stadium is revolved, although this happens quite slowly, so the club plays a few tunes to distract us.  That's why sometimes it takes youi longer to walk back to your motor.

Seems to be some kind of unofficial rule that if we win the toss we opt to shoot in that direction first half and let the opposition kick off, and if the opposition win the toss they will choose to kick off so we again can opt to shoot in that direction. On the odd occasion some team like the sheep will go against that and make us shoot the other way, in a pathetic attempt to unsettle us.

i'm not sure when all this started ,  I remember plenty of games years ago when we shot towards the Copland Road terracing in the first half.

Teams playing away from home chose to KO 99.99% of the time, coupled with the fact that we have a tradition of always choosing to play towards the broomie when we win the toss.  When we are away from home and win the toss we always elect to KO as far as I can recall.

just out of curiosity how do we end up kicking the same way every game, is there no coin toss anymore to determine who has the kick or choose which way to go??

Tradition. Kinda like a bit of a gentlemans agreement. Teams have came and ignored it (Celtic do it from time to time)

Ignore the knobs mate, it's tradition for us to shoot towards the Copland Road in the second half, have you never noticed some fans booing when the odd arsehole captain elects for us to swap sides before kick off when he wins the toss?
