Durie gets a hatrick, Laudrup get man of the match says it all. I hear about the Henderson's and the Baxter's off this world from my late father all my life but I would like to think Brian is right up there with those 2 ledgends as the famous quote from Jim White said" Brian why are you so good"? THE_Ibrox_Preacher 2,812 Posted June 9, 2016 Share Posted June 9, 2016 I'm dreadful for remembering specifics after a while but I'm surprised to see no mention of Amo, we all forget just what an individual man-wall he was in games in Europe/v-celtic, not saying he was the best ever but honestly watch a big game from his time and just watch him snuff out attacks single handedly like Death in an old folks home. No one and I mean no one is going to name any of our less favoured servants but every dog has its day and the day for Broadfoot (to name but one) was V Werder Bremen at home, he was our best defender as we survived an onslaught or German engineered attacks, as Martin would say "Wave after wave after wave!". So neither are mentioned in the sense that they are the best individual performances but to highlight some things that are yet to be touched upon. Hemdani vs Lyon 3-0 Hutton vs Stuttgart 2-1 Warterus vs tims 2-0 Davis vs tims when he scored All games where u left and thought fuck me he was out of this world. Ferguson really was some player !
