Credit to the ROI fans today

Great gesture by their fans v Sweden today when in the 24th minute they sang "Stand up for the Ulstermen" in tribute to the NI fan who died in a fall.

Compare this with the plastic variety we have to live with who mocked the incident on one of their forums.

Just seen that on facebook and thought exact same.

Great gesture and its the plastics that bring hate upon them.

Yip. And the nuggets that don't understand the difference.

Fair play

I get the feeling that The actual Irish , my generation anyway are in the majority polar opposite of the rebel loving plastic variety we see over here . The current generation of Irish are maybe the first generation to try and loosen the grip that the Catholic Church has held over that country for years , the votes for gay marriage and push for abortion rights are a sign of this . Most of the younger generation couldn't give a fuck about the "cause" and are ashamed and angered by the catholic church's devious and oppressive past in the country . Unfortunately over here we are stuck with the fake wannabe Irish who think being Irish consists of shouting up the ra and hating everything british

Having been all over Ireland .A fair amount of them don't give a fuck about the scum from the east end of Glasgow .

Most of them love Man Utd .

It's only the plastic paddies over here that behave like bigoted scum when someone dies

Yes, as much as I wanted Sweden to fuck them today, credit where credit is due, well done!

Most of the hate filled bitter bastards you see in Republic shirts are Scottish plastic wannabes anyway.

Most of they mongs who claim Irish descent are Ulster Scots as well

They don't even realise

Didn't know about his and a great gesture from them. This is a refreshing  piece to read. Just shows that outside this poisonous country of ours actual football fans do exist.  As already said on this thread that really will  shock, confuse and disappoint the filth we have over here and the filth in our mhedia.

Would them skirt swirling, racist jocks pay tribute  if an England fan lost his life? Not a chance.  Shows what sad times we live in here in Scotland thanks to Salmond, Sturgefish and those  clueless SNP supporting morons.

 Agree 100%.

Nearly all the people from the ROI that i have spent time with were either Man Utd or Liverpool fans. As you rightly said none were interested in Celtic.
