**** Official Rangers v Annan Athletic Match Thread ****

Recommended Posts

Tuesday 19th July, Ibrox Stadium, KO 7.45pm.

Annan losing 2-1 today to stranraer.

Warburton promised squad rotation so I expect a few changes in the team.

Gilks

Hodson Hill Wilson Wallace

Tav  Krancjar  Windass

MOH. Miller. Forrester

Freshen the team a little, try tav in midfield, push Forrester forward as well.

Rangers 3-0.

Will be a very different looking team to that of today, I'd go with (if all fit and available)

Gilks

Hodson--Hill--Wilson--Wallace

Kranjcar--Thompson--Windass

O'Halloran--Hardie--McKay

Lot of different opinions here.

for me personally itd be

Gilks GK

Wallace LB

Hill CB

Wilson CB

Hodson RB

Halliday CDM

Windass CM

Forrester CM

McKay LW

OHalloran CF (trial 90 mins in this role)

Waghorn RW

barton on for halliday at 60 mins

Kranjcar on for Forrester at 60 but swtich McKay to CM and Niko to LW

would also like to see Ryan Hardie get his chance done very well on loan last season but at the same time Jordan Thompson impressed in the few minutes he played for us last season.

Also seen further up someone suggested trying Tav in midfield which I think could be a shout given some of his defensive blunders

I'd like to see

Gilks

Hodson Hill Wilson Wallace

Windass Halliday Niko

MOH Hardie McKay

get Barton, Thompson, or whoever else didn't get any game time involved.

What's the score with big Crooks' injury?

Heard he should be back for the Burnley game.

Don't think the team will change much from today, apart from Joey Barton will get some game time, thank god the open finishes on Sunday!!

Anyone know the expected attendance on Tuesday?
