The old man getting called put for using the word 'black' in his stream of abuse is ridiculous, IMHO. If it was 'ginger' or any other adjective would it be deemed as offensive? I very much doubt the player heard him - so surely the media exposure, which will likely make him aware of it - is the problem here. Or is it really not so intimidating and harrowing for the player, but is being used to manipulate and frighten the public...
