papaguy51 941
Today could possibly be the worst day I've had as a Rangers supporter.Keeping in mind I'm only 20, I've not seen many bad days as a bluenose so this comes as a shock.Actually left the New Year family dinner table to come on here and see what's happening!I'm thoroughly behind Ferguson here. From what we can see, this has stemmed from the argument PLG and Ferguson had over the importance of the captaincy role. We should have ALL backed Ferguson on this as a club like ours has thrived on great captains like Greig and Gough. Now, after PLG's apparent inadequacies in the league, he's done this at the total wrong time. At a time where we need people like Ferguson, the one great player in our team but also a diehard bluenose, he's been transfer listed and a total donkey has been made captain.None of this 'wait to hear the full story'. All we need to see is that our captain who plays for us through thick and thin (remember marking Riquelme out the game with 1 ankle) is being bombed out by a manager who has came in and wrongly challenged the foundations of the club and under-estimated the domestic competition. As Danny said in a previous post, anyone who says 'I back PLG on this' is nothing short of astonishing. papaguy51 941
It makes me sick when there's people on here saying 'Well Done PLG'While we may not know the full facts, picking Rae as club captain instead of Dado or Stevie Smith needs questioning in itself. And on the subject, who the hell are we going to believe anyway? Barry, who is one of US, or this frenchman who has nearly made a mockery of our club?Leads me to think that unless Ferguson has walked in and said 'sell me, I don't want to be here any more' then PLG hasn't got a leg to stand on. The curious thing is they're giving congratulations to PLG on the basis of something they're completely hypothesising!Dunno how that works. As for the rest of your post, agreed. Exactly Danny. They are saying 'ohh how can you blame PLG when you don't know the facts?', but likewise how can you support PLG without knowing the facts. This is a man who sent a promising defender back to Man Utd because he put a hard tackle in during training..so ironic when you consider that the team has a lack of bottle.Bardsley, Ferguson, Prso, Clement and Novo are the only people that were in this team with any fighting spirit, thats two of them thrown out wrongly. Says it all really.

nvager 498
THe facts have still to come out - FROM BOTH SIDES!G RAE captain is a mockery - What about regulars like Hemdani, Prso, Smith, etc? This is a BAD day for RFC.Great start to the New Year.THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN SORTED OUT IN-HOUSE and WEEKS AGO.DM should have had them both in his office and kicked their butts. Both of them.Disgraceful all round.PLG has to go IMO.
BlueSuedeSambas 56,349
Posted this in the worng thread I personally think PLG is a bit of a power/ control freak and he seriously needs to look at himself as he is letting his personal grudges get in the way of the progression of the team.First there was the Nando incident. Ok Nando was a bit of a charasmatic enigma, but he was one of our better players and had he been in that midfield this season we would have seen a lot more fight and drive. I think he used nando to show his intent early on.Secondly he banished Bardsley, who had looked like a decent enough player, for something as small as a tackle in training. That to me is childish on PLG's part. And now he has stripped our best player and just about the only one who seriously cares about this club in any way shape or form of the captaincy and handed it to a player who can sign a pre contract agreement with any team he wants now! There are also the rumours of PLG not rating Boydie, criticising his game and often leaving him on the bench when he could be helping the team by scoring goals. There are also the whispers that he could possibly be offloading him in this window.Bardlsley, Ferguson, Ricksen and possibly Boyd are all feeling the force of PLG simply for doing what they do best.I think PLG lost his split dressing room a long time ago and I think his actions recently have made him lose the support of us as supporters.Everybody says that no man is bigger than RFC but PLG clearly has his vision of RFC and in it he is #
tradestonblue 0
He is trying to prove that the Captain doesn't have any clout. That's why he appointed Rae.C'MON FERGIE.
