CR -- it's more than an outrage mate. PLG owes us an explanation. It's not his club, or Murray's. It's OUR club. The finest, proudest club on the planet is on the verge of disaster because of PLG. I feel physically sick.

I thought this was some sort of joke when I first saw the title on the off topic board.

How any sane person could possibly think about shipping Barry out of the rest of this team is completely beyond me.

Hang on, though, just as I'm typing this, I'm wondering if this is some sort of get out of jail card by PLG. Make Murray choose him or Barry. On current form, you'd hope Murray would go with Barry and then PLG can plead lack of support and take off. Just a wacky idea though, I just can't make sense of it any other way.

Maybe we're all picking this up wrong.

Maybe as quoted here Barry has been dropped for simply being outspoken about something. A single game reprimand to remind him who's boss. When asked who will captain the side tomorrow Le Guen replied Gavin Rae. And from this we're all jumping to conclusions.

A statement from Rangers said: "Paul Le Guen has confirmed he has chosen, on this occasion, to drop Barry Ferguson for tomorrow's game.

"And the captaincy will be given to Gavin Rae."

I hope this is the case and Barry will be back as captain for the Dunfermline Cup game or the Dundee Utd game there after.

It's all guess work I suppose.

What planet do you live on where someone with 90% of the shares in something doesn't own it?

Just as a matter of interest, how many do you have?

The BBC report contained much more than the Official Site is giving out.

Dropped, transfer listed and will never kick another ball for Ranmgers as long as PLG is manager is what they were saying.

Whether they are right only time will tell but as it seems Barry is getting the chop for manipulating the media in an effort to undermine PLG I know where my money is on who Chick Young's source was.

Actually, it was Murray that said 'no one really owns Rangers. There are only custodians.' The club wouldn't exist without the fans. 'Owners' come and go, the fans will always be here.
