General malaise in the team

I sense a general malaise in the team and wondered what it could be.

Has Warburton lost the dressing room? Since the Celtic game the players seem less together, less willing to fight for each other, arguing with each other about instructions. Heads are down.

The players must be sick of being made to look inept by inferior teams. Players all have egos so are they losing belief in what Warburton is asking of them?

His philosophy seems to come before capability. Are players unhappy at doing roles they are not comfortable with?

Warburton appears clueless at times. His press conference stated he knew how Hearts would play, to press high but we seemed completely taken by surprise and had no answer, so what were the team asked to do that they failed with?

His selections are baffling. Crooks starts from the wilderness but instead of in his preferred position on DM we continue with Halliday who has been a poor stop gap.

If he knew we'd face a press why did he start Dodoo who isn't a target man?

His rigid adherence to philosophy and purist approach is naive when your in a team that demands wins.

The most frustrating thing is that we have semi decent players and with a system tailored to them we could do more. He took a 433 free flowing system that scored goals into a turgid 451.

Either revert back to 433 with advanced FBs or go to 352 or even 442.

Unfortunately, despite being a clever, articulate and decent guy, his inflexibility will be his downfall.
