JamieD 18,937
Second to every single ball, which is bad enough without considering that this is one of the players they were up against.
RangersMedia 35,961
Holt was fine and with better players around him he'll be a good squad player. His game is finding gaps and making short passes. Halliday garbage and Windass unfit.

I think he is more a box to box rather than trying to plan a holding role which he had never played until he came to Rangers. The main problem for me is he doesn't put any effort in. For someone who claims to love Rangers as much as he does, he should be busting his arse, especially against Celtic.

Totally handicapped by having r ply alongside Halliday. Like I said, he popped up with some positivity in spells, good player but nowhere near enough today. Halliday was absolutely pathetic. Number5 2,121
The amount of people who rate Holt. His level is Hearts. Too many playing with expectations far above their ability.
jackg93 441
No one in our midfield showed a tenth of the fight that brown did for Celtic today. As a player he's not the most gifted but the lack of aggression in our midfield is so worrying
sandyinroyalblue 16,478
We won our tackles and second balls against Hearts and Aberdeen at home and competed well for the first half hour but as soon as they scored we basically chucked it in the middle of the park. Barton? Kranjcar? Crooks? I can't be the only one that is amazed that after all the rambling about signing 11 players etc we actually still have pretty much the exact same team as last year. It's a very good point, everyone was in agreement that the midfield that played in the Championship wouldn't cut it in the SPFL but by one reason or another that's exactly what we have. It just makes this transfer window so important.
