A little piece of history

i work in an office full of Aberdeen fans and I speak about sport in general with one of the guys quite a lot.

Yesterday we were speaking about past Rangers Aberdeen games and got to talking about what it was like back in the day when our Dads would have went to games etc, and he got to telling me the story about this item.

Hes unsure exactly what game it was, and unfortunately his old man has passed away so can't confirm but it was Aberdeen v Rangers at Pittodrie and estimated it to be between 30-35 years ago.

His Dad was walking home after the game and found this scarf lying mudded on the ground, so he picked it up, took it home and washed it by hand and kept it all this time.

Got me to thinking how many matches it had seen, any European games? Don't know how old it is exactly, given the commemorative style crest I'd guess about 1979 given we won our fourth treble in the 77-78 season, which would put it at about 38 years old.

Anyone else got any treasures from the past with a story behind it?
