Its quiet on the football front, so  I thought I would ask, what's your view on how we will fare in Europe next season?

How will our style of play do in  European games?

Should we change to accommodate continental environment?

If we are to qualify for Europe we would end up in the 1st qualifying stage. I think there is 3 qualifying stages then a play-off stage before the group stage. At the moment we would probably struggle to make the play-off stage. All depends on who we would get and what our team is like since all we seem to be doing is bringing in short-term loan deals.

Style of play wise I'd like us to implement and perfect this 3-5-2 system more, I know we've drawn and lost the games it's been used but I think it looks as thought it has potential. Would also suit European football, allow us to keep three players back at all times and press the opposition in their half. Think we need two new center backs though!

We won't get far at all with this 4-3-3 it's absolute shite, we don't even have a goal scorer, fair enough the team chip in with goals and thank fuck they do, imagine relying on a striker to score us goals this season ? we'd be rock bottom of the league.

Hearts and Aberdeen have scored more than us, that's embarrassing to say the least.

This current crop would be lucky to get by the 1st round, no joke.

Top signings are needed in the Summer to even have a hope of making the group stages and a formation change is needed.

My honest answer is that at this time I have no idea, but my guess is that since we will have mainly the same team as we have now when the games start it will be a difficult to qualify to say the least.

If we qualify then this seems to be the dates:

2017/18 UEFA Europa League calendar
19/06/17: First and second qualifying round draws
29/06/17: First qualifying round, first leg
06/07/17: First qualifying round, second leg
13/07/17: Second qualifying round, first leg
14/07/17: Third qualifying round draw
20/07/17: Second qualifying round, second leg
27/07/17: Third qualifying round, first leg
03/08/17: Third qualifying round, second leg

04/08/17: Play-off draw
17/08/17: Play-off round, first leg
24/08/17: Play-off round, second leg
