govanblue 16,847
The Big Raffle for Wee Joshua – Tickets £10 each – BUY THEM NOW!!! STAR PRIZE Matchday Hospitality, Hotel & Chauffeur-Driven Limo for 2 (Club Europe, any League game except c****c). Includes: Arrive at the Glasgow Hilton to check in and have a pre-match cocktail Chauffeur driven to the Stadium in a Jaguar XJ3 Club Europe Match Hospitality (includes Free Food and Free Bar before and after the game) Meet a Rangers Legend Personal Tour of the Trophy Room Signed Match Ball and Shirt Chauffeur driven back to the Glasgow Hilton in a Jaguar XJ3 Night's accommodation in the Glasgow Hilton Plus more than 25 runner-up prizes (see below) (and that list will grow, as we continue to receive new prize donations) All proceeds from this raffle go directly to Joshua Burns Adair, a Wee Bear in need of help. You can read all about Wee Josh in this thread here… http://forum.rangersmedia.co.uk/topic/295124-can-you-help-a-wee-bear-to-get-to-america-for-an-operation/ Regular readers of RM Fund threads will know that we’ve been supporting Wee Josh staunchly for the past 6 months or so, and this raffle will hopefully go some way further towards helping him get the help he needs. Buying tickets Each Raffle Ticket costs £10. So to buy tickets, simply go to Wee Josh’s gofundme page, and make a donation, in multiples of £10. https://www.gofundme.com/joshuaburnsadair/ When you’re making your donation, don’t use your real name (we don’t need to know that!) Put your firstname as your RangersMedia (or RangersRadio or Twitter) username, and then for your surname, put RM, (for RangersMedia) (or RR for RangersRadio, or RFC for twitter users) – this will let me see that your donation is a raffle entry. - And don't tick "anonymous" either - I need to see your donation on the donations page. Once you’ve donated, contact me, either by RangersMedia PM or in the RangersRadio Lobby so that I can allocate you your tickets, and update the ticket purchases list. (twitter users - contact @ShipChef on twitter) If you’re not able to donate via gofundme for whatever reason, contact @govanblue and we can arrange an alternative method of payment such as cheque in the post, meet at Ibrox, etc.) The Draw The draw will take place some time towards the end of February/beginning of March. The exact date will be determined nearer the time. The Rangers Youth Development Office (who do the Rangers Lotto draws) have kindly agreed to assist us in our draw to ensure it’s all done properly. The first ticket drawn will win the Star Prize (Matchday Hospitality) Another 25 or so tickets will then be drawn to receive a runner-up prize. Each winner will be contacted in the order that their name is drawn, so that they can choose their preferred prize from what’s left from the prize list. After the draw, a list of winners will be posted, then each winner will be contacted in the order of the draw, for them to choose their prize from the remaining prizes. More than one entry per person is encouraged, so you could maybe win more than one prize!! Prizes can be posted to the winners, or collected from Ibrox. govanblue 16,847
There seems to be some kind of issue with the gofundme/paypal page, affecting some, but not all users. From what I can tell, the problem seems to be that gofundme doesn't seem to like too many people all having the same surname ("RM") So if you try to donate with the surname RM, and it just takes you to your PayPal account, without letting you make the payment, then go back and pick a different surname. Maybe put RM as your first name, and your RM Username as your Surname.

govanblue 16,847
So you may remember that Loyal Fund Member @Poetry_In_Blue donated a "Pure Jongo S3X" Wifi Speaker system, and a pair of touch-operated table lamps as raffle prizes? I reckoned that there were too many Luddites on here to properly appreciate such high-tech wizardry, so I stuck them on ebay (it's like Noel Edmonds Swap Shop, but on the computer.) After ebay fees, postage etc, we made £70 on the 2 items. So we've bought 7 tickets, and put them in Erskine's name.

So in fact, maybe it's just an intermittent PayPal issue.
