Our fans seriously downplay our players worth. Utter dross is flung around for millions, it's the norm for boys who have played 10 career games to move for 10m these days. Modern football is shite, but we need to take advantage of it. In real terms they're probably only worth a few million, but this is the era of Sky and values are seriously inflated. Fans speaking on a message board won't make any difference to our players values The fact we're skint will though

(Forster, Wanyama, Hooper, Van Dijk, Dembele, Kayal, Juarez, Forrest, Johansen etc). They'll even get about 5m for the 3rd best keeper in Scotland no doubt. If Fod played for the tarriers right now their fans would be shouting no less than 10m for him and in turn the newspapers would be touting that price. Happens every year. Can't agree, it would be different if he was playing for them because their finances are better, that's what it all comes down to, our financial problems are well publicised so clubs are going to take advantage Our fans were crying for far more when we sold the likes of Hutton and Cuellar, never made a bit of difference and our finances weren't nearly as bad then as they are now

To Be A Ranger 4,032
He's a good keeper and far better than he was when he first arrived. Maybe having Gilks breathing down his neck for the no.1 shirt has made him improve. Most of our goals against have been due to the back 4 being poor not the goalkeeper. WeirFleckNRothen 1,789
£10M - £13M. If someone offered £2M, we would have to seriously consider it. £3M and he's gone. I rate him, but we're on a different financial footing in this day-and-age, rendering that sort of money - generated by a free transfer 18 months ago - exceptional business. Even more so in Scottish football, the poorest of the poor. Lee Clark at Kilmarnock is talking about the £800K that the big, black boy secured them as if he had personally been handed a cheque for £5M. That's a team from war-torn (A bit exaggerated), politically-unstable and corruption-riddled Egypt flexing their financial muscle over a Scottish team. We are very vulnerable when it comes to losing our players. If we lost Foderingham, Wallace or McKay, for example, we would probably do so for not a great deal of money and replacing them immediately would be an impossible task. Amato 3,096
Dunno how much he'd go for but I wouldn't swap him for any other keeper in Scotland. Good with ball at his feet and has made some brilliant saves this season. Gordon is (apparently) being looked at by Chelsea only because he has experience in the EPL, but he's 8 years older than Wes. Wes will end up in the EPL

RFC16 226
Think hes different class.doesnt have any faults, probably makes a wonder save every game. I think hes very underated .im certain this is due to thousands on his back when hes got ball at his feet.every good ball playinf goalkeeper would do the same but we have a right go and it makes a problem out of nothing and makes it ten times worse.only fault is sometimes slow and indecisive but no wonder with us breathing doon his neck! Come on leaps and bounds this year
graeme_4 37,618
If the filth are looking for £3m+ for Gordon who is 34 and been riddled with injuries, I'd be looking for at least that for an English mid 20s keeper who is far better than him. Not on RM though, he's shite and we should bite anyone's hand off for anything around £1m.
