rossDas 1,071
I dont think people understant the severity of the flooding.I had to take the bus to glasgow cos the line had been swept away and submerged in places. In fact scotland now has several new lakes! Saw them from the bus and I'd love to see some satelite data. We're going the way of new Orleans and it aint over yet...

rossDas 1,071
Was too stunned to remember to take pics. The whole bus had the atmosphere of a disaster movie. It was so deep you could see treetops just sticking out of the water. Also saw submerged trailers and half swamped telephone poles. That was just south of Aviemore but there was more between perth and glasgow.Trains will be disrupted for weeks so take that into account if traveling.
