451.

MOH up front for pace.

5 to include Hyndman and Toral plus Mckay offering support to MOH.

Miller on bench, impact sub if needed.

Hit them on break and close down space for them to work in around our box.

Pretty much what I would like to see from us  for next week.  Ping balls over the top for MOH to run onto from halfway line.   If we go out with the usual 433 I really fear we could be in for a tanking.   We also need someone to occasionally stick a pin into our defenders to stop them day dreaming and I'd tell that dozy goalie to just boot the ball down the park.

Only time I've ever seen MOH truly sensational was against us when he played solo for St J and tore us apart with his pace.

I'd go for it with him.

Fuck the fitba, leather balls out of defence and let him chase them and push them back. Wee Barrie as one of the midfield 5 to help on the break at pace.

I'm saying all this fully expecting to see Miller start :justno:

I would drop Fod for Gilks much prefer him.

Play Hodson at RB with Tav at RM.

Halliday should be left in the stand.

Waggy the lone striker for 60 mins then bring Miller on and go 4-4-2 and throw everything at them.

Yeah Gilks.

No reason that won't work.

Fod, Hill, Hyndman, Mckay and Miller on form and we could come out of there with a draw.

I can forgive the lack of ability but when you put that into the pot along with weak mentality and no fight it's actually gut wrenching to think about that bunch of pansies going to parkhead. The 5-1 game was my first parkhead game and I honestly burst into laughter at the "atmosphere" that the media fawn over. It isn't even being biased. I thought Tynecastle was louder than that.

We need mentally strong players and our best players to be on form.

If Hyndman can get on the ball early and Mckay gives Lustig another game to forget then we wouldn't be far away.

I would much prefer Neuer in goal.

Waghorn is brutal.  He can't hold the ball.  His first touch puts the ball 5 yards away.

Our main problem is in defence.  We haven't got one. :depressed:

I think apart from his finishing he gets a bad press. He at least gives us some physicality up top.

Still we do have match winners in McKay, Miller, Hyndman and yes dare I say Tav!

Hes due another special free kick.

Garner can't play, Garner is out, No Garner :duh:

Everyone needs to be on top form for this one, expecially at the back.

Their two wingers and Cf are bang in form and scoring. They have midfield runners who are scoring too.

We need to be direct, control the ball and be aware that there are going to press the whole game. We need to be clinical from Set plays and quick on the break. Miller isn't going to run away from anyone, but always scores against them, plays decent forward passes.   I would go,  4-4-1-1. Waghorn not cutting it, just go pure pace to stretch the game with Moh. Guy can't score in a barrel of dicks but would be able to hit balls into the channels

Tav Kiernan Hill Wallace

Windass Hyndman Toral Mckay

              Miller

              Waghorn

Man mark Dembele and Sinclair. Hit them on the counter - long balls up the park. Make the team watch a video of the first 45 mins they played against Motherwell when Well had them 2-0 down: both long balls up to Moult who reamed their relatively shitty defence. If we have a chance, that's it. I would go 4-2-1-3. Hyndman behind a front three of Baz, Kenny and Waggy with MOH (for pace) on the bench. Fuck knows who else in midfield. Same back four I suppose...

Watch the highlights of that game. I hope they play Touri on Sunday. As for tactics  I think Well played a 4-5-1 and if we want to counter we will need to flood midfield not have 3 up front, your 4-2-1-3 would see us lose midfield and who would man mark if only 3 in midfield?
