FOD MAN OUT

Rangers No1 Wes Foderingham OUT of Celtic clash – Jak Alnwick set for Old Firm debut

SunSport can reveal keeper Foderingham was crocked in training but the full extent of the injury has not been confirmed

JAK ALNWICK is set for a shock Old Firm debut – after Wes Foderingham was sensationally ruled out.

SunSport can reveal Rangers No1 Foderingham was crocked in training.

The full extent of the injury has not been confirmed.

But It’s understood it is bad enough to see him miss the Scottish Cup semi-final with Celtic on Sunday.

It will be a massive blow for Gers with English goalie Foderingham one of their standout performers this season.

Alnwick, 23, hasn’t made a top team appearance since joining from Port Vale in January but he will now be handed the gloves for the Hampden showdown.

So he's out but have absolutely no idea what his injury is or to what extent it is?

So how do they know he's out?

I think Garner is too much of a risk to start and McKay will start but yes I think you've called the rest of the team. If McKay doesn't look interested and he's creating a weak link, I see him getting subbed by Dodoo on the 30 mins however I think he'll stand up and be counted for this ? I can see Garner coming on late as we move to 4 5 1 to see out the game ?

I'm starting to think it might be a risk without Garner, we know they will press high and Garner is the closest thing to an out ball we have also offers more than Waghorn imo

I think Garner would have had a start lately if he was getting thrown into this. He is a different player to handle that's why I think we'll through him on at the end to exploit them whilst they're chasing an equaliser

Yea I doubt he'll start too, I just hope Waghorn doesn't start either. Would like to see someone like Dodoo up front and use his pace to exploit them on the bigger pitch.
